For this shoot, I used basically every single bat-fig I had assembled at the time. I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to use my Batman Beyond, Shogun Bat, Snyder Bat, or some others that were in different stages of assembly, but trust me when I say I considered to use all of them! :P

The preliminary photography for this was a nightmare getting all these figs to stay standing up. If I bumped just one, they would ALL fall over and it drove me up a wall in a continuity stand point.

If you watch yesterday’s edit video you’ll have learned that I used the bottom group of figs in repeat, so moving close to seven or eight figs from one side of a shot to the other without bumping the figs so the edit would turn out was a nightmare… but I did it :)

Also another thing that was a pain in the ABS was the “stage blocking” for lack of a better term. It’s something I don’t often talk about unless I’ve got more than four of five figs in a shot. But the idea was that I needed to make sure all the figs didn’t block one another and that things like ears or hands didn’t block faces or torsos in the final shot….

Taking the images really came down to staying conscious of how and where the edit would take place. Where the over-lay of the comic book logos would sit, where things would get covered up, how the shot was going to be cropped in the end… Oof… It was a lot to track, but was a blast to work out the kinks when looking back on it :P

But yeah... that’s about it though I think…? (I’ve really been on a big Batman kick lately huh?)

Anyway, till next week or something idk I don't know what I'm doing! :)

I like the orange paper contrast.

I should say thank you, since it came from that big stack of craft paper you sent me a little while back! Finally getting some use out of them! :)
