Did I really buy a custom figure just for one custom part? You bet your shiny bricks I did!

Honestly I’ve been eyeing this terrible DragonBrick Endgame Cap since it first dropped about a year or so back and honestly I couldn't bring myself to snag one. But after really thinking about it long and hard I finally bit the bullet and picked him up along with Crystal Minifigs Destroyer!

It was tough to justify buying either of them until I came up with an idea for the two. So when I flipped through my catalog of “one day I’ll re-create that cover”, I convinced myself to get them both in one go from Lab9’s page a few months back!

Both figs are well made and I’m sure you’re all getting tired of seeing review posts so I’ll keep it brief since frankly there’s not too much to talk about and that Cap fig is… gosh it’s really terribly designed.

Cap has a gaudy amount of print to him and the design translation is rough at best. The print application is good, the mold for the shield is fine, the helmet is awful (it’s well made but awfully shaped), but that spinning hammer though… oooh buddy it blew me  away! So really, I’ll get some good use out of that one piece for years to come, so in the end I think it’s worth it. It's waaay more compact than my brick-built one, and honestly is just so cool!

Meanwhile, The Destroyer on the other hand has that nice drum lacquered silver applied all around it that Crystal Minifigs is known for. Followed by clean and crisp print applications for the line-work. It’s also a design translated directly from the Lego Video Game and it’s literally one to one (other than it being not-chromed)

But hey, if anybody wants to buy this Endgame Cap fig off me, shoot me a line, I’d be happy to work something out for cheap ;)
