So like I had mentioned earlier, the posebility isn’t great when Bat’s is all armored up. There’s an image here showing the max range that the limbs can go forward and back, but the head/helmet is unaffected and can still spin a full 360… not that you’d want to do that, but you could :P

If I could find any other negative things to say about this fig, is that for being a lego minifig… intrinsically customized over the standard Lego graphic design, it’s like hyper-detailed in a way that I’m sure would turn some collectors away. It doesn’t bother me so much, but those Frank Miller-isms of the TDKR Batman turned lego minifig might not be for everyone.

But while that is a minor complaint, I also take that opinion completely the other way in saying that I absolutely love the detail and translation of the design! It’s a perfect recreation of Frank Miller’s artwork down to the wrinkles in the brow of the cowl and the folds in the fabric of the suit.

I honestly think that’s what wins me over! It’s quite on par with BlackStar’s Kingdom Come Batman. It doesn’t fit anywhere in my collection other than on it’s own (more or less), but damn does it stand out! :P

But yeah, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it. Is it weird or two much? Do you like the armored up version more than the base level fig? Too much detail? A specific detail that you just can’t stand?

Let me know!

And keep an eye out in the next few days for a the photoshoot I’ve got planned for him! ;)
