Phoenix Customs Miles Morales Review! (Patreon)

Alright I think I’m gonna rush this one a little. Not out of intention or anything, just like, there’s not much to talk about with this fig and there are more things coming down the Patreon pipe that are pulling my attention...

Also what is this, like the THIRD Phoenix Custom Fig I've reviewed in the last few months? Geez, they are really pumping them out! :P

Honestly though, it’s as great of a custom Miles Morales as you could get, and that’s that! I could end the review right there, but I’ll try to fluff it up for you guys ;)

This one is based off of his appearance in the movie Into The Spider-Verse and it’s a great translation! Personally for me, this is one of the better Miles variants adapted into a custom fig that I’ve seen. Phoenix Customs gave it this fantastic detailed texture of black print on the black parts (similar to how PCB did it with their recent Rami Black-Suit Spider-Man) and man, it lost absolutely killer!

The medium legs are a perfect choice for this fig too! Not too tall, not too short!

The EclipseGrafx hands are also really appreciated. The red fingers are a detail that a lot of customizers have left out with their own figs and that attention to detail is what’s gotten Phoenix so far with his reputation.

The extra “swim cap” mask is nice too! It’s a great inclusion to an otherwise accessory-free fig.

It does make me regret not grabbing PCB’s older Gwen Stacy (Spider-Gwen) fig from many many many years back but alas… the official one is fine I suppose.

But hey, this one was sold to me directly off his website in late November last year at around $70 (give or take shipping and tax and junk). I personally feel that while it’s a simple fig, it’s still a stunning one to look at in person, and the extra accessories really do help the big $70 bite a little easier to swallow.

All in all, it’s a good fig and I like it. I wouldn’t expect anything less from good’ole PCB! :P
