The print quality for this fig is great, as is with all Phoenix custom figs these days. I don’t know the extent of the collaboration with Rex for this one (maybe for the weird accessories that we’ll talk about shortly) but regardless it turned out as yet another solid PCB’s custom!

The arms, while not duel-molded, are still pretty convincing and well printed. As are the three-sided prints for the legs and the subtle lacquered gold print on the torso! The Harvey Dent logo is a bit pale though… could have been a bit more red…

Yeah I’ve got no complaints on the design translation or the quality at all. Phoenix has got that in the bag with just about every figure they’ve released this year.

The two hairs included are neat too! The idea to slightly modify an existing official lego mold is actually kinda clever and I wish we could see more of that from other customizers in the community.

The green hairpiece however is rather tight on minifig heads and not very easily removable. I do like the shaping as well, but that green shade just feels a bit to bright for my taste.

The gun and bomb timer were both exclusive to preorders of the fig, and both have this weird sort of action figure quality to them that I’m not the biggest fan of. Really it’s the square handle for the gun that gets me, along with all the printing the two parts have.

For one thing, that square handle really restricts the poseability of the gun to only forward or back, while the bomb trigger thing easily falls out of the hand because of the odd tapering for the handle.

They certainly look cool and function well enough… but you and I have both seen better.

But yeah man, a few accessories really can’t bring this fig down. It’s still a great addition to any custom collection, especially if you’re a big TDK fan.
