LifeBrick / Unicorn TDK Joker Two-Pack Review! (Patreon)

So, like with a lot of LifeBrick figs, these two were a little dusty out of the tin since they didn’t have any plastic bags to keep them clean… but the collectable “presentation” of them in that little green tin was fancy, so take that info as you will… I’m personally not a fan of the dusty figs upon arrival when I’m spending over $200 for the pair…

I just hate having to spot-clean every single damn photo of the dusty figs whenever I take any image of them. It’s super irritating… but I digress… not everybody collects for the same reasons.

But enough about that, back to the figs themselves!

This collaboration project is just stunning! The details are insane! The wraparound arm printing is incredible! The expressions on the heads are all designed extremely well! This is an absolute masterpiece of a pair of figs, through and through!

The two toned vest, printing on the sides of torsos, hips, and legs. That patchiness of all the heads! The custom parts! These are the kind of details we’ve come to expect from LifeBrick, and each one of those details are unique and sharp as a tack!

I think the only thing I’m not a fan of (design wise) are the laces on the tips of the toes for the bank robber Joker. It’s kind of a weird choice… I’d rather they would have been applied to the tops of the feet, or otherwise left off the design entirely like with the standard Joker fig.

Something to note though, be it a more noticeable change from the pre-order renders to the final product sitting here on my desk… there’s a missing wallet chain loop that would have been on the left leg of the main figure. Kind of a shame that didn’t make it into the final printed piece.

Also with my particular copy of figs, I ended up with two of the same hair pieces! ...But more on that tomorrow!
