Well here we are once again! You and I... your eyes and my text… reading this in whatever voice you’ve made up for me… what great times we’ve had eh?

Let’s talk about some custom minifigs!

You gotta admit LifeBrick didn’t have a lot of details to work with given the source material, but what they’ve translated here is great! :)

Of course with yet another LifeBrick fig comes with more fancy packaging. The shipping container was shrink wrapped… which again just kinda feels like overkill. It also included a metal collectors card which again probably adds to the $90 price tag.

The print quality is exactly what we’ve all come to expect from a LifeBrick figure! Nice clean line work! Excellent detailing! Fine craftsmanship here, through and through!

The power-blast effects are a cool addition, though they don’t quite match with any official Lego transparent greens that I could identify. They’re much lighter than regular trans green, and not nearly as much of a wham-bam-boom-pow sort of color as the trans neon green… (that’s clearly the technical way to describe colors)

The molded cape is great! The tattered look is really fun! Though like with all hard plastic capes, the poseability for the fig is limited while wearing it so you really can’t get him into any good running poses.

That helmet could have been maybe a little better though… the weird little splotches from the wash of the gold paint application that… well now that I’m thinking about it could have been intentional given how the rest of the fig is printed to look “dirty”

…so I guess if it was intentional then great! …but if not then boo!
(I gotta make sure I stay politically neutral about these kinds of things ya know…)

One thing to note is that the headpiece is very snug and doesn’t fit quite properly on the head which is a bit of a shame. But all in all though, pretty good stuff yet again from The LifeBrick team once more! Though I’m curious how Jaka’s will compare when it arrives from overseas…

But that’ll have to be for another day! ;)
