Fantastic Four Brickheadz! (Patreon)

Woah! Look at that! I built some more Brickheadz! Can you believe it?!

Well believe it true believers! I am postponing the endless custom fig reviews for something a bit different, and a bit the same. It’s been a good while since I’ve built some superhero Brickheadz and I didn’t hold back!

The Thing as inspired mostly by the wonderful drbrickheadz and their similar build from a few years back; only my twist gave him some added texture and height!

Johnny’s hair was inspired and adapted from a mocheadz build. As is Invisible Woman’s hair design from a different mocheadz build! I swear that guy designs the best BHz hair!

Lastly, Mr Fantastic’s big ole’ hand was inspired by a Kamala Kahn BHz build by legobaldon / baldonbricks (or whatever they’re going by now)

These four were a long time coming! Getting them all to look and feel like they’re part of the same series was a challenge. Originally I wanted t stick with the John Byrne era Dark Blue/White suits, but opted to stick to the classics!

I also debated how to convey their powers for a while. I thought originally to adapt my old Firestrom hair into something more like fully aflame Human Torch, but settled on a more reserved look this time around!

What do you guys think though?

…I like ‘em :)
