Jaka's Netflix Punisher Review! (Patreon)

Jaka can do no wrong! I mean just look at this thing! Holy smokes! This is an absolute 1:1 recreation of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher! Particularly that facial design and the HAIR oh my gosh that hair!! I absolutely love the look of this fig!

He’s scrappy, he’s pissed, he’s a perfect translation of the Netflix look!

Okay okay okay I’m getting ahead of myself!

Let’s start from the top! Get a load of the new clamshell shipping containers Jaka’s rolling out! Nice to see the update from all the extra foam, to something much more practical and sleek like this! Not to mention that this new shipping shell certainly keeps the figs from being so dusty on arrival as they’re bagged within them!

Now getting down to business, first thing I clocked when eyeballing this fig was the color matching of the light flesh around the forearms. Honestly that alone was impressive! It’s pretty close to perfect as ink can go over black plastic and I wanted to give it a shout out for the quality!

Of course Jaka was kind enough to include a bonus Jigsaw head if you wanted to barf out a purist Jigsaw fig to shoot at your new Netflix Punisher minifig!

(I’m gonna be real with you though… I never watched the solo show so I have no idea how they interpreted Jigsaw because honestly… Punisher on his own I find super boring so… ya know… idk I didn’t even make an effort to watch it! There I said it!)

But in Daredevil, h’oh boy he was great!

Looking at the 360 view of this fig, I can’t find a flaw to bring up! Honestly that’s kinda of the whole review. It’s great! It’s accurate! It’s made well!

Done!

It’s got some killer graphic design work! It’s quality craftsmanship! And there was a (relatively) quick turnaround production time of about five-ish months from preorder to mailbox! Pretty good coming from Jaka (and even more exciting how they’re streamlining their way towards non-preordered figs)! Their preorder time frames are only going down while their production quality just keeps improving!

Yeah man, no regrets with this one! Good stuff!
