I’ve never met a MrJ fig I didn’t like, and this one is no exception! Talk about a sparkly fig!

I snagged this one for pre-order waaaaay back in April 2022, and received it around mid July and it’s been shuffled around my desk for a little while. But at last, I’m finally getting around to reviewing her!

A majority of this fig has a base drum lacquered teal with a glitter sparkle to it that’s really neat! It’s like an extra shiny metallic-like sheen that takes it to the next level for me! Not only that though, everywhere you see gold print, it’s a shiny lacquered print as well that really gets this fig to pop in bright lights!

The overall hexagon pattern around this fig is also really sharp! There’s not a single spot I could find where they look more like circles instead of sharp six-sided shapes. There is a little bit of alignment trouble around the backs of the arms where the gold and green layers don’t quite sync up with each other. But other than that, it’s still miles ahead of anything Lego would have officially produced.

Just looking at the two figs side-by-side you can really see just how impressive this figure really is!

The crowning achievement (pardon the pun) is the hair and crown piece! It’s just such a nice vibrant red and that gold is so shiny! The waves in the hair and all that texturing is incredible! Even the inside of the piece is clean and fits well to any head you put it on! Really good stuff!

As for the head print, I’m not sure if I like the blue for the eyes. We all know, MrJ’s strong suit in their design work is not the faces. We’ve seen some of their bolder choices in their Suicide Squad figs

Comparing it to older custom Mera’s, it’s certainly another one! The Christo (left) and BrothersFigure (right) don’t have their original heads because I can’t find them for the life of me! But you can see just how varied this character has been interpreted and I think that’s neat :)

MrJBrick made 80 of these compared to MrJ’s usual 60ish. Even at their standard $75 price point, these didn’t last long. Maybe MrJBrick is listening to their collectors because the only real complaint I can hand out is how hard it is to get their figs!

Honestly it looks great and MrJBrick continues to impress me! And that’s all I’ve got to say about it! Short and sweet this week :)
