City Buildings! A Work In Progress! (Patreon)

Alright gang! As we ramp up for the new year, here's what's been going down! On top of reviewing new figs for the rest of my life, this is what’s been taking up so much of my time!

Builds! MOC's! Content! ...orrrr it's just a bunch of crap... however you wanna look at it...

I got a hold of that big wizard’s house set a few months back, and I’ve slowly been making some modifications to it! I was inspired by yellowbox777 on Instagram to widen the build by six studs to square-up this building a little (mostly to fit the baseplate better - also yes, I completely gutted the interior because who has time for that!)

But wait hold up, The "building buildings" Bug didn't bite me here! It was several months ago! Let's rewind!

It started in the summer with a plan to go all out and build a build for the Green Goblin Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon fight scene from Spider-Man (2002)... you know the one! I had modeled this first tan building off of the main structure Mary Jane falls from. The build itself was heavily inspired by builtofbricks on Insta, though without the full building or sidewalk space.

But of course, me being me, while waiting for parts to complete it, I a second light grey building  inspired by legomodularlover (that made its debut back with my Amazing Spider-Man shots)

Then finally around the time the Sanctum Sanctorum was announced, I was neck deep into building some buildings! This time making two more! One in dark tan (of my own simple design) and the other in a white/sand green motif (sudo based on the Creator Modular Bank set)

You’ll no doubt see these pop up now and again in future projects, but yet again I am waiting on parts to finish the modifications to the Sanctorum (hopefully the timing will work out and I can get it finished and ready to shoot with the new LifeBrick NWH Spidy figs!)

Regardless, I thought I’d share with you all what I’ve been wasting my time on! Yes I’m still building stuff! No this page isn’t just going to be review photos for all of eternity (the creative process just takes a lot of energy, time, and money and the holidays drain me of all three)

But until then, I'll just keep daydreaming of the day I’ll become a real internet celebrity! At least then I won't have to work a "real" job to buy "real" food for my "real" family and I'll turn it all of that lame stuff into patreon time! :)

*wanderlustful sigh*
*queue laugh track*

Anyway, for real though... keep an eye out for these builds! I'll be sure to put them to good use soon! ;)
