Hey look at that! Why it’s my original posting plans for the 2023 holiday season! And what better time to share it than late January!

I like this fig, kinda! But given the fact I’ve had this one sitting on the desk for a while tells me that I don’t like it that much… idk it’s complicated! Let’s just jump into it!

From a design standpoint, that pink arms feels a bit too bright right off the bat. Maybe that’s how it looked in the show, I don’t remember all that well. My gut instinct is to say it’s wrong. I remember it being more of a… idk… sorta “plum-like” purply/grey color… …whatever that means… 🤷🏻‍♂️

Regardless, at least the fig included an arm and it’s printed and who cares! (I’m late to the drama of this debate by about a year)

As for the rest of the print, you can really see PCB’s influence of this collab in the facial design! Something that they’ve always been strong with! However this fig makes my brain wheels spin. Who printed this fig? Was it Jaka? Did PCB design the hair? What about that bow? Why doesn't it have a string? Who was the more involved party driving this fig to completion?

I am beside myself with questions I’ll never get the answer to.

The hand printing is really neat! I love the extra detail put into those fingerless gloves we’ve all come to know and love from PCB. However the light flesh color is really sloppily applied. Frankly, I haven't seen this kind of poor print quality from PCB or Jaka in years, so I’m not sure what happened there…

Again, WHO printed this? Who’s responsible?! 👀

*phew*

But the parts! Let’s chat parts!

The hair is a bit small (especially when you compare it to the official Lego CMF fig). I mean tbf, just having the official fig next to the custom one is a bit jarring.

A nice medium hair size between the two probably would have been better in my mind. Perhaps even if PCB/Jaka made the ponytail larger I think that could have helped. Hell! Just make the ponytail poseable! These are custom figs after all! The sky’s the limit!

But where the hair falls a little flat, the quiver utilizes a magnet!

I believe it’s the first time either of these two brands have implemented magnets with their figs! It’s simple and effective, even if the quiver is a bit small…

Now while the hair is cool and the quiver is nice, that bow is just spectacular! Easily the winner of the custom parts! Really well 3D sculpted, and that color is a very rich chocolaty brown 👍🏻

It’s really snazzy! It’s a shame it doesn't have a “string” attached to it like the old Christo Green Arrow bow, but it’s still really nice! Again that brown is nice and rich, and the details around the handle are very nice!

“Andrew! Stop beating around the bush! Talk about the dog already!”

You’re quite right! Lucky the Pizza Dog is also a nice addition to the collection as he can fit in either with your Matt Fraction Comic Hawkeye, or the MCU Hawkeye figs :)

There’s uh… not much to say about it though. It’s an official Lego-molded dog element with custom print on the front and sides. But it’s a dog, you can’t be mad about getting a dog with your custom $7000 minifig order!

It’s interesting how it compares to the official (darker) dog mold and print

All in all, I like what we got here! …kinda!

It’s fine. $130 was certainly too much though. You can see the attempted quality with the hand-print as well as the custom parts, but the design kinda… idk… leaves me wanting more. Perhaps that’s the MCU’s fault though…. Those guys really know how to dull a colorful costume!
