Hey Zoran, I wake up and start work at 2 AM and I work till I am done. Sometimes that is 8 am and sometimes it's 4 p.m. With that in mind I would love audio only since I never have time to sit and watch videos.

Girahim4240

Audio is good. Going for full podcast is good. You just need to be more descriptive... that way you can bring more depth without visuals. But you all do a fine job already with descriptive scenes already. At most needing to take a breath to describe movement, the environment, and how inevitably SpeakerD touches the obvious cursed knowledge tome in the silly rpg.

Mr.Grim

Audio is the only way I really interact with you all. I would love audio-only content if it means that I get to listen to you all more often.

Cassandra

I'm not going to lie... I generally don't even pay attention to your video output, given I'm normally listening at work. If you want to do more audio-only stuff? WOW! TWO CAKES!

Sándor Péter

Thank you for anwsering my question in the discord! I understand now that it was a long term teaser for a future project, I hope you guys will stick around and make it happen and that I'll be able to see it as well.

Nibbler

I mostly listen to you guys via audio only because I binge to you guys while working and chilling at home so I am down for audio content

Annie Owl

I'm down with pure-audio shows! Especially if that means we are going to get more stuff :)

Cing of Sound

I mainly listen to you guys on audio. Sometime when i have time i look at your video, so i am also down for audio content.

Valintine142

I listen at work mostly so I don’t usually have the ability to watch the visual stuff

Bunnygirl-Tiffany

On the Podcast/visual design topic: I mostly listen to the games y'all host, but i do like the visual parts. For me i think that the character visual designs and dice rolls are the most important and i'm less interested in the battlemaps, so if your looking for a happy middle ground on it, cutting down on battlemaps/background production, and keeping the character PNG visual would be good for me, but it's understandable if you have to go the Podcast way and i'm staying no matter what way y'all go :3 On the Abomination Vault round 2 topic: I would really like to see you and the old Vault crew try again, it was a lot of fun seeing play last time and would love to see y'all do it again Zoran ^^ <3 On the Rot Kingmaker style topic: That would be very interesting to see and the bigger kingdom building RPG style could be really fun, so i can wait for the time y'all are ready with it no problems \o/

Sean Winterrowd

I would definitely enjoy an audio only show! I do like everything that goes into the full visual shows, but I also sometimes listen at work and end up missing out on it, so a site designed for audio would be great for that. Also a Call of Cthulhu audio show sounds excellent!!

Barkell

Audio is no issue, though I would be slightly saddened to see the visuals go. Since I do listen to your podcasts more often than I can watch them it shouldn't really be too much of an issue.

Sándor Péter

As to the audio format stuff, I'm generally fine with it but maybe I would keep just a minimal visual stuff by making at least some artwork of the main characters if possible. Also the audio only stuff should also be on youtube not just spotify or other podcast platforms please.

turtletaco

Mirroring what others have said and adding to it I don't mind paying for this as I want rotgrind to be free and have the best visuals. Having a few visuals like player character and maybe rolls. Other then that what ever makes it more easy / streamlined! Love your updates as always.

Tab13

If its easier on you guys do the audio. I fully understand when it comes down to legal stuff, time crunch, and/or system compatability. That being said I woul like to still see the videos for the big stuff.

TeamWSMF

I would totally be down for more podcast-style games, especially if it makes things easier on the production side! NarDec has had a lot of high quality art and video production so far, but it sounds like a more sustainable option for new games or shorter campaigns. Also, I hope you get a chance to sleep for a long time as soon as more things are finalized, you deserve a nap after coordinating so many different ideas and groups and campaigns!

Pat Wolf

Audio would be cool for one-shots/short campaigns in different systems. I love listening to these while I am working or when I am painting my models in my downtime.

BF

I'm audio only for the most part so it's no skin off my back. If we can get more consistent updates or a new system, go for it. But the reason I listen to the youtube video when available is because I don't like the other apps.

Michael Renninger

For 40k given how, let's say weird Games Workshop is. I think that would be great to do audio only. I think for other games that you have to jump through hoops to make your own art or if you are worried about copyright stuff I think audio only makes a lot of sense.

Hammith

I am all cool with audio-only. My only main issue is making sure I don't MISS any.

Alexander

I'm okay with it. Its mostly occassionally glanced at playing something or just listening. Just need a taser on the characters like you do to describe what happend! Hell would love this for rotgoons. Would make fan art interesting too on what is described.

ninjacharlz

short term things that don't necesarily require visual maps are great for audio only stuff. That being said, having visuals on like "hey here is concept art of all the player characters" would be hecking cool.

Dirt476

I listen while at work so I rarely get to watch the show. Audio only works fine and if it make things easier on you all the better.

Horned rat

Hey Zoran I believe i got banned from the discord server. I'm not sure why considering i dont think i ever sent message. Also I'm personally happy with purely audio. I listen to everything at work and in the car.

Layle Dragneel

I'm happy with Audio only if it makes it easier to manage,

I'm an audio only listener, it's just my life style and I prefer to download because of my limited mobile data. I think you have the right idea on the balance between visual and audio content. I would ask that you still have some portrait art for the characters. Or some sort of poster splash.

CrimsonBullet58

I wouldn't mind having exclusively audio content, it's how I listen to most of it at work anyway. The question I would pose is: Is this just going to be edited down to character interaction and situational occurrence, or could it end up closer to the editing style that was initially planned when this started with Warhams?

The Great Pumpkin

Audio-only is fine with me, I listen to the VOD mostly because its there and fancy, could easily see myself just getting it as audio. Dunno how that'd work with streaming and your revenue. Furthermore, Zoran the Urbie audio-drama when? *Joking*

Luis Varela

Genuinely, yeah, I have it on as I take care of other things and really enjoy just listening. The jokes hit the same

James Conway

Hi Zoran, I have an idea for these audio-only updates. I think it would be great to have a brief text-based "too long; didn't listen" that summarises the main points. I know you dabbled a bit with speech-to-text. Perhaps rather than publishing the full text, run it through a LLM to summarise it. You'll still need to edit the summary but it would be quicker than editing the full text. Anyway, just an idea.

Demos Mirak

I mostly treat the shows as audio-only as is. If I notice an audio-cue for a on-screen joke (mostly the 'smoke poof' audio effects), I will walk back to the screen to catch it, and I will enjoy it, but mostly I don't watch the screen actively and treat it as a semi-podcast already. However, I do have the mental images of the battlemaps and characters in mind while listening, though, which would be harder if I never had seen them to begin with.

Zanzanagi

I would have trouble only with the battle segments cause I need visual to track movement…. But I put on the videos I’ve already seen and game. But if I haven’t seen it I like watching it

Wicksy

I would love more content, no matter what form it takes. I only have time to listen to the audio versions of the shows at work so more of them would be awesome.

Hey Zoran--I'm just a patron, but I am VERY much "that guy." My favourite thing about TTRPGs is McGyvering the hell out of the limited tools/rules at hand to find creative and amusing solutions to problems. Gameplay Example: (DnD 5e) As a warlock, at the behest of a the Fae Winter Court I once crafted a candle using rendered boar fat and my character's own hair for a wick, then sneakily deposited it inside a wall within the Summer Court's castle using "Meld With Stone" (as we left the candle detonated, flattening an entire wing of the castle). Personality Review: I met one of my friends/party members at the D&D Adventurer's league because, and I quote: "I joined this table because you [me] looked like you were having the time of your life. You've got like, infectious energy." So if you're ever scraping the bottom of the barrel, Zoran... I volunteer as tribute, even just for an interview! :D
