Howdy YALLS!We wanted to ask you guys about the distribution of the Whisperwood videos.Instead of spending the time on full edits, we could share the raw VODs instead. The audio would still be cleaned up so it's easy to listen to, but you'd get the full experience: the chat before the session, the breaks in between, and our afterthoughts at the end.If that sounds good to you, we can swap out the current uploads for the raw versions going forward. And it would save our editor a lot of time to focus on other tasks.Let us know what you think via the poll!

whatever ya'll want to do

Truthfully being able to listen to all those bits and interactions with chat are wonderful to listen to. By no means are the editors videos bad they are wonderful as well. It’s just getting those behind the scene-esk are always fun to watch and listen to.

Antarctus

I watch a chaos odessey and whisperwood and they're both good. The whisperwood experience is marginally better but I don't think it's worth it. Personally, I'm particularly curious about the talk after.

I would say, raw, unfiltered footage on Patreon. Edited works on public sites like YouTube or other form of media

Nibbler

*slaps arm* give it to me raw! Lol

WarRocketAjax

Oh my goodness...does ZORAN smell guys...I mean like...is he playing ORAN again today? rotting worms and mud...ugh I can taste it...it's in my mouth!!!! okay on a serious note (thanks for putting in the humor I love from ND) both works. I like being able to listen to the chatter before some rotgrinding. And I love Easys edits and addendums (like in kingmaker). :D HAWKMEN! DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIVEEE!

So I'm weird. I like have the intro conversations/the intermission bits (I can never watch these live, schedule just doesn't work). At the same time, I certainly can appreciate the production quality that goes into the editing and anytime there is interplay between the players and Eeze, its hilarious. I will say this: I only watch each episode once. I like what you guys do, but I ain't got that kinda time (as paradoxical as this next thing I'm about to say is). If I was given the choice between a 1 hour and 50 minute edited video, and a 2 hour and 50 minute video with both the intro and intermission, I'd probably pick the full/unedited video.

TheTiredTraveler

I love the commentary between players in the unedited footage, helps us as listeners really understand players and the choices they make as well as feel more included. I listen to 90% of Patreon after it comes out so I personally would love to see interplay and funny bits

It is a good way to go, similar to the Rotgrind or Rotgoon series

RabVonFrost

I already massively enjoy listening to the Rotgrind preamble/preshow so I don't see why it would be any different with the whisper wood crew.

Sithrazer

I want to hear the goofy goobers goobering goofily. (give me the extra bits)

NovaNight

While I do like both and Eze does great work, I have to say that I do like all of the extra bit and parts that come from the more raw videos in the Patron.

The Great Pumpkin

I was fine with Chaos Odyssey, same as early Warhams, don't need a big production thing outside of series you really wanna push hard.

ADHDMoth

I love when Easy chimes in too!!

ADHDMoth

I love the bits around the actual game as much as the game. I haven't been able to watch the last 3 streams because it keeps freezing on my phone, and I have been mad I don't get to see those extra bits!!

Orkon64

I do enjoy when your editor is able to get in on the humor but I also enjoy you guys showing the commentary that we don’t always get to see.

Fiend

Getting the extra bits, the banter, the fumbling is actually really enjoyable

I would love the raw videos as the talk between the actors is a delight! If anything, I would like to see raw and a quicker "Last time on Whisperwood" type of quick catch up video. Reminding of story highlights and important moments so one can quickly jump into a live stream even if they are not caught up or need a refresher. c:

heres the problem with this idea "Whisperwood is a public stream first, to then a Patreon/Members exclusive show" wouldn't it mean that there is a redundancy on posting it edited then? (I love whisperwood edited, but hearing the raw bits is always enjoyable). Rotgrind and other public campaigns works, bc again they are public. Having the edited version being posted slower would build a backlog and since theres always new stuff to edit (this or other campaigns) means the backlog would just snowball, but then again the editing was already a something being done, so technically there isnt a backlog all we where getting was the raw part early. I think the sweet spot would be not cutting the bits and do the intro (I love the intros they always pump me up for the show), this would mean no more redcards/redscreens would be less clean, but still a enjoyable experience. I dont know how long the intros take to make compared to the rest, but just letting in the "redcards" and the bits would already help I assume.

Orange Shirt

I like both, but if I had to choose just one it would be the raw.
