Rotgrind Bestiary: Rot Flies (Patreon)

Hey all, Zoran here!I wanted to take a crack at developing some creatures for all of you. And I made THREE of them for you to torture your players with!One of the things I look to do when I Game Master TTRPGs is find ways for enemies to work together. I love presenting a puzzle to my players to figure out during combat to avoid the constant "I attack, okay next turn" isms that happen. I love making combat encounters interesting!Another thing I set out to do is add something more to Swarms. Swarms in 3.5 D&D sent fear into a lot of players due to them being notoriously hard to kill. In Pathfinder 2E, they're a lot more manageable. So those who don't have any area of effect attacks can still deal with these deadly enemies.So I decided to make them deadlier by giving them the ability to heal by combining together! The single rot flies can combine with a swarm and heal it for a little bit. While a normal swarm can merge with another to become a fully healed one!Evil right!?Not to mention all of them can apply mind rot! A disease that slowly makes you weak in body and mind. Making future fights even more deadly!The PDF and its lore is also laid out in a specific way. I wanted to see if a story comes through or not as people read the lore about these creatures.
