I want you to look at this image. This is a thumbnail image of a July 1, 2017 Patreon post. So the scene I'm working on now is a scene that I left unmade 5 years ago.

この画像を見て欲しい。これは2017年7月1日のPatreonの投稿のサムネイル画像です。つまり今作業しているシーンは5年前に作りかけのまま放置したシーンということです。

I'm going crazy.

あたまがおかしくなりそうだ。

???  Is there some kind of additional rendering or other feature that gets turned on when generating those images? Why do the shadows/light source seem different from the thumbnail in the video? If this is what has been frustrating you with confusion in unchanged files, I can see why...

Most of the images I put on Patreon are in the process of being created, and the images I render with 3D software may or may not have shadows, which is fine for single image output, but sometimes I render images without shadows as sequential files when I want to quickly check character motion. This is not a problem for a single picture output. The raw images rendered by 3dsmax are not used as a movie, but are processed by After Effects in various ways to create a single finished movie. Incidentally, this scene is in the morning and should be represented as a proof (lateral) from the window, not from the lighting in the room. However, if we were to do that foolishly and honestly, the shading of the character's face would be extreme and all the unevenness of the genitals would be in shadow, resulting in an uninteresting picture. Such trial and error is difficult, but it is what I do. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
