Since saunas have become much more popular in recent years in the Netherlands than they ever were. (mostly seen as a place for nudists and old people)
These days where gyms are a new hangout and sauna's are included there and wellness centres and Spa's are also more of a way to spend the weeekend or break away during a busy week.
Therefore the modern Dutch are far less prude than the older generation who were majorly uncomfortable with nudity.

Because of this shift in our semi-culture the naked dating shows on TV and other Naked TV programs were much more accepted and had plenty of people joining the shows.

Thus its only natural that todays next trend is to meet your date for the first time in a sauna.

Because a first date is already awkward enough on its own, I felt lets do it with a bit of a clash of dating traditions! XD

The guy was used from an other very old joke (again with Vicky) The punchline is the same, but now the context is more relevant I believe.
