Additional to that list above I also did Kung Fu Chang Quan (Northern style) and Kung Fu Whing Chun (Southern style) Because of the geometric of China the Northern people were more skilled with their legs due to the vast tracks of lands, while the South had people doing more rowing and therefore had stronger arms and thus punches is central in their Kung Fu. I didn't bother to add those two on Quintons list, simply because Sanda Wushu is a far more practical combat version of the two and Bruce Lee developed Jeet Kune Do to improve those out-dated Kung Fu styles.
Plus a seminar of Brazillian Capoeira - NOT my cup of tea AT ALL to be perfectly honest. As a martial art it simply never made sense to me - its not very partical!
I never did Krav Maga though, because in those days I trained, Krav Maga was not heared of yet in my country. But I felt Quinton should have that.
In the 90's I even did Dutch Free Fight - which was basicly the same as MMA these days.
All that for making a comic character... yeah... I know... XD
If you want my personal opinion about Martial Arts:
Kickboxing is THE most practical. A punch is a punch and a kick is a kick. Simple and effective.
Combine that with Jiu Jitsu for grabling and groundwork and your done.
Oh, and NEVER go do Aikido... not practical in ANY real life situation. Trust me on this!
