Maisie had to think fast.

While the school was proving a good option in terms of the hallways being quiet, it wasn't foolproof. Any number of classes could be ending soon, students and teachers could be wandering the halls - which meant she had a limited time to try and solve this predicament.

Her best option felt like computer access, without her phone, it was her best choice. Ahead she saw signage that led to the library, which could be quiet, but it was almost definitely staffed. The woman had no idea as to its layout as well, if the entrance was exposed then Maisie could easily be seen.

She groaned inwardly, there had to be something she could-

Oh shit.

Footsteps!

She heard the clatter of shoes against the floor, echoing down the empty halls.

Shit-shit-shit!

Maisie couldn't head back outside; she didn't even think she could get to the door before whoever was coming rounded the corner. The way ahead was a complete non-starter, which meant...

The shrunken woman swiftly threw herself out of sight, suddenly wishing she was much, much smaller than she was. A quick glance showed the room beyond was empty, it was the best hiding spot available to her!

Trying to keep her attire on her dwindled frame, her tiny hand gripped the door handle, praying it wasn't locked. Her gaze nervously turning to the footsteps that grew louder. Maisie tried to ignore just how high the doorknob seemed compared to her...

With a wave of relief, she felt the threshold click and give way!

Without a second thought, the panicked woman burst into the room-turned-refuge - a shrunken blur of skin and yellow fabric.

Incredible!! I love the body language here, and her carrying her larger undies is an adorable touch.
