Tricked to Treat - Part 07 (Patreon)

The sound of Jenna's shriek went from muted to echoing as she was consumed by the witch's pumpkin shaped bucket. The tiny woman plummeting into Ivana's Halloween haul thus far.

However, hers was not the only voice inside the prison. Jenna could hear another as she scrambled beneath the sugary treats and plastic wrapping, trying to pull herself above the sea of candy.

Bianca, for her part, had found a position of relative stability amidst the shifting sands of her confines, and held tight as Ivana was clearly on the move again. More than once, the witch had cruelly shaken the bucket just to torment the green-haired woman who had apparently not shown enough festive spirit.

Bianca considered trying to help Jenna in her struggle, but the jostling had been torture enough and so left her 'cellmate' to find her way to the top.

Jenna gasped and cursed as she emerged from the strange and pungent objects around her, understanding the dread truth that what surrounded her, that weighed her down, that penned her in - were nothing more than candy.

"Wait, Jenna?" Came a voice.

The newly shrunken woman was about to respond when the world shifted and she braced herself in a panic, her eyes focused on the other woman across from her.

"Bianca?!" Jenna's eyes narrowed as familiarity set in. That was the woman three doors down from her, the pair were acquaintances at best, but now far more intimate given their shared plight.

As Jenna looked across at Bianca, another oddity set in. Bianca looked... tall! No, big. She couldn't be sure, but she remembered being taller or even the same height as her neighbour but from here the younger woman looked like she was on a different 'scale' compared to herself.

"You're tiny!" Was all Bianca could offer given the insanity of their situation. The sight of seeing another shrunken individual was a stark reminder of her predicament.

"Ugh! We're tiny!" Jenna spat back. "How are we going to get out of here?! Ivana's insane! How is this even real?!"

Bianca shook to one side as the sound of footsteps on wood were heard, the witch was clearly descending some stairs. "She'll turn us back after, right?!" Bianca said, looking for some kind of reassurance.

The tiny woman took in her surrounds, trying to make sense of any of this. Her tone confused and terrified. "Maybe we've just got to show some of that stupid Halloween spirit she was talking so much about... any costume ideas we could put together with any of this... giant candy?"

Bianca blinked; no reply was forthcoming - was that seriously their best plan?

Beyond the confines of the bucket, Ivana made her way from Jenna's house, disappointed in her neighbourhood thus far, but glad to have collected two special treats. At the very least, that was one more house that wouldn't be disappointing any trick-or-treaters this evening.

Ivana hummed a tune, unaffected by the terror afflicting her little captives, instead she thought on the rest of the houses she had to visit. She wandered if Nicole, Warin, Laura, or any of the others around here would show a little more enthusiasm.

The witch would find out soon enough.
