Jenna and Maisie were far from satisfied.

"Wait, so you didn't just make this by yourself? A whole company knows about it?" Asked Maisie.

"Do they know that you 'broke' one of their precious inventions?" Came Jenna's question angrily."Why don't you work for them anymore?"

"Who tried to call you earlier?"

Sophie winced. "Thats enough questions for now, I think." The scientist's tone was firm enough that it almost startled the two doll-sized women.

Jenna went to speak when an enormous hand reached towards her, her body tensed, fearful she was about to be plucked into he air but instead a nearby ruler was lifted from the wooden surface. Easily done in Sophie's hand, a feat that would have proven very difficult for the dwindled women.

Sophie didn't wait for the pair to speak. "So! Like I said, I need data, so lets get you two measured."

There was a shared sidelong glance between the duo, before their eyes darted back to their redheaded captor. "What, with that?" Asked Jenna.

Maisie's head danced between the tiny woman and the much larger one. It was Sophie who replied. "Yes, its a ruler. It measures things. I'm sure you're familiar?" 

Jenna looked unimpressed at the sarcasm. "We're... we're not lab rats you can just tinker with and prod at!"

Sophie bit her lip. "Like I already explained, I need data if I'm going to repair the device. That data involves capturing your current heights."

Maisie went to speak but Sophie continued. "How tall were you two before you shrunk yourselves?"

The question caused humiliation to rise in the pair - it painted them as such fools.

Maisie answered first. "Five foot?"

Jenna sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose before responding. "Five four or so."

Sophie cocked her head slightly. "Huh. Maisie, you give me short girl energy but I would have assumed you were taller than me, Jenna."

The shrunken women didn't know whether they should be offended by that statement.

"Now, lose the shoes, Maisie, and lets get you two measured."

Maisie swallowed nervously, her head darted between Sophie and her feet. "W-what?"

Sophie looked exhausted. "If I'm going to measure you, I need actual measurements..."

Maisie wasn't thrilled at this request, nor the way in which it was asked. "Sure, right. I get that, but..." The tiny girl lied. "These aren't exactly serious heels."

Sophie furrowed her brow. "I'm not asking you to get naked. Besides, I'm surprised your whole outfit went down with you..." She pondered that. "Maybe studying the clothes would be worth it too..." The scientist was entirely in her own mind as she spoke, not realizing how chilling her words sounded.

Maisie raised her hands placatively. "No!" The word tumbled from Maisie's lips. "I mean..." The youngest of the women trailed off as she stammered over her words.

The talk of clothing brought insecurities to the forefront of Jenna's mind. The sudden change of their environment to a more intimate, domestic setting combined with the somewhat measured conversation - as opposed to struggle and panic - made the older woman far more aware of her near-nakedness.

"Hey!" Jenna said, bringing the attention back to herself. "Can I get some clothes? This is humiliating enough." The teacher instinctively covering herself somewhat.

Sophie looked perplexed. "You want... something to wear?" 

Jenna nodded, realizing she had something to bargain with here. "Yes - and if you want to measure me, you'll get me some."

Sophie glared at the tiny woman. In her head she considered how much stronger her own position was; she could threaten Jenna with further shrinkage (the scientist had no reason to genuinely harm the woman) but that wouldn't achieve much at this stage, and given Jenna's size, would she truly fear it? No, not when the shrunken woman knew Sophie needed data... Perhaps she had overplayed her hand there.

The redhead sat back in her chair. "Fine. I'll get you something to wear. While I'm gone, get your shoes off, Maisie, and when I'm back we'll get you measured before you get dressed. Do we have a deal?"

Maisie glanced between the two, frustrated that both of them had spoken over her in this exchange.

"Deal." Jenna said, indignant and frustrated.

Maisie sighed angrily as she watched the enormous woman stand from the chair, reaching out to take the device with her.

Jenna looked mildly pleased with herself, and quietly excited at the prospect of something to cover up her near nudity. Sophie walked away, satisfied that she would get what she needed.

Maisie threw her hands up and collapsed on the surface, starting to remove her sandals. "Well, I suppose you two are just calling all the shots then..."

Jenna looked over at Maisie, only slightly concerned with what she said, more concerned that Sophie had taken the device with her - a rushed and failed attempt to foil Sophie - but mildly smug at her clothed prospects.
