I have a question about the 'one off' renders and uploads I make! These are images like 'Messy' and 'The Next Big Thing' I posted recently <3

I really enjoy writing short stories and captions for my work, but it is an extra bit of lift on my end. I was curious how much the written story adds to your enjoyment or is it just the visuals that you like most? Do you think the one offs without the stories would be missing something? Or if less stories meant more one offs, would that be a plus for you?

Obviously, this question just applies to the one off renders I post - my ongoing series will continue to have my writing accompany them! Feel free to expand on your answer in the comments!

For me, I like the way you treat us to your views on your works. I love the idea of being able to see how you think

2026-10-04 11:00 Your renders are what won me over. However, your writing and creative stories are always a delight to read. I look forward to reading your stories as it gives context to the pictures. I encourage you to do whatever you feel is appropriate though. The stories are not something I would consider integral for me to remain a patron, but I do appreciate the work and effort you put into them.

While I do adore your written work (it's my main draw), it is fun to see your one-off 3d art and collages by themselves from time to time, especially if they are candid or action shots. Now onto a more serious matter... ;) Who's been keeping Ivana at shoebox storage height? We all know she is far more creative when her size is set to keep her just outside of door handle reach. 😉

I'm biased since stories are all I really have to offer, but I like them. That being said, not every story needs to be a full on 700-word/chapter production. A one-off with a 30-word caption can be just as satisfying and easier to produce.

Interesting! Thats great feedback, Kevin! <3

Ivana

Okay, great! Super useful info - very sweet! <3`

Ivana

lol at the three of you who chose the shoebox option <3

So interesting that the written work is the main draw - lovely hearing that! And some extra big meanies obviously shrunk me down to a shoebox appropriate size!

Ivana

Really great point, Leago! Thank you!

It's nice to do a one-off without a story (my DIY gallery on DA), it's fun to let others imagine what's going on, or type out their own short story! Also, how DID you manage to get out of the shoebox?

Ivana

Thanks, I agree! And uh... I'm sure we can talk about this...

Love your one offs, as it offers to quickly jump in an awesome story-scene. Your writing is impressive and I envy you for this. But it is also sometime a bit much, volume speaking. So my complete Answer is: Story yes absolutely please (as pictures alone just leave the reader to much in the dark about the characters and their motivaiton), but sometime a bit less text for each picture and instead 1-2 pics more for this story-scene.

Ivana

Gotcha! Thats super helpful. Thanks Jakken!!
