Riddles in the Attic Part 3 (Patreon)
Content
Jenna was trapped.
Trapped in her own body that wouldn't respond, but more than that, it wasn't her own body in truth. Replaced with some plastic monstrosity, she didn't remember her outfit vanishing, or where her new attire had come from - whether it had appeared on her or she had been dressed in it. She wasn't even truly aware of what she was wearing, truth be told.
Time quickly lost all meaning to her, as sensation and awareness became less and less tangible concepts. The experience was more akin to dreaming, unsure of what was real and what wasn't. Merciful that her senses and awareness were subsumed and muddled, for the horror that her wrong answer had wrought upon her would be too much otherwise.
Perhaps the owner of Crescentwood Manor would take a measure of pity on the would-be thief, or perhaps instead they would simply delight in their new doll. As Jenna stared out, unblinking into the night, the words on that sheet of paper danced across what was left of her mind...
