Jenna was working late for the eighth week running.

Everything was going wrong. The clients feedback was completely out of scope. The team were hitting the notes that did make sense. Jenna's bosses seemed utterly out of the loop. The finely crafted schedule she had created for the project was being reworked for the fourth time this week!

She furrowed her brow as she looked at the projections - there was almost no way the team were going to hit their targets this week. Jenna groaned and stepped away from the screen. Her head was such a mess!

The project manager was in dire need of a vacation. Surely life didn't have to be this stressful! Fantasies of escape clouded her mind, as thoughts of her younger self came unbidden. She remembered a time when all she had wanted was the 'Adult' life - her own career, her own home, her own car... What a joke. Life had been so much easier when she was small.

The stresses of her work were already threatening to rip her away from these fantasies and they collided in an outburst. The woman raising her voice to no one but herself. "Ugh. This adult thing is a scam." She muttered. "I wish my life was a little more carefree!" Her voiced echoed in her study, the sound reverberating off the lamp that sat idly on her shelf.

Jenna had assumed she was talking to no one - she was wrong.

"Can you be a bit more specific, hon?" Came a stranger's voice - as silky as it was surprising.

Jenna wheeled in shock, seeing a woman standing right before her!

The brunette fumbled at her words, before landing on. "Who the fuck are you?! How did you get in here?!" Jenna's panic and anger swelled in equal measure.

"Do I look like I'm delivering pizza? You made a wish, darling - I'm here to oblige. The name's Khasi." The woman seemed completely unphased by Jenna's outrage.

"What are you talking--just get out my house right this second!" Came the project manager's command.

"That would be too easy a request - and too dull. So, I'm sticking with the first thing. By the way, you seem really tense." Came the strange woman's reply.

"Are you listening to me?! Get out!"

The dark-skinned woman turned Jenna's laptop around, leaning across her desk. "Looks very dull. I can see why you're in a mood."

"Thats it! I'm calling the police." Jenna was about to storm out.

"Fine. You don't want to clarify? That's on you. I can improvise... Let's see, what did you wish for again...?"

Khasi rose a finger towards Jenna. Immediately the brunette felt the world spin in a hundred different directions at once, the world rushed away and towards her and felt herself falling...
