Hey yalll,

I realized I haven’t done a survival show in awhile so wondering if anyone wants this? I know there’s RTK 2 and Stage Fighter next month but I’m not sure if I’m gonna do RTK 2. Depends on the demand. Stage Fighter I will definitely do.

Full disclaimer about Produce X 101- I have already watched it back when it was airing but I’m more knowledgeable about kpop now so it might be an interesting rewatch.

For those wondering for I-Land 2, I wanna wait to see the debuted group and decide from there like how I did with Enhypen.

It would be really cool if you would watch Girls on fire! It's a singing comp show with some of the best vocal performances I've seen in Kpop recently! I haven't seen anyone reacting too it but I know you've done Build up which is similar (personally I liked girls on fire more even though I am a strong fan of several of the guys from build up) anyway I hope you check it out, if not now then another time. rtk2 has a few groups where trainees who appeared in x101 debuted. CRAVITY, UNITE, and ONEUS re-entry. So I really want you to watch rtk2.

Its crazy timing that you're posting this because I've been thinking about rewatching certain survival shows recently, and in fact i rewatched your old reaction of the i-land episodes just the other day! To answer your question, personally I actually have never watched produce x 101 before and I'm not even sure of the final lineup so I wanted to watch it at some point. It would be great to have an updated reaction to watch along with you but I wouldn't want to be spoiled throughout the show so unfortunately I don't think I can watch at the moment. In other news, yk if you have any interest in reacting to it I would love to hear your thoughts on the new and recently popular japanese gay dating reality show called "The Boyfriend" on Netflix! It has a very unique format compared to many other dating shows I've seen and the loveable cast together with great messages really make it worth watching. I hope you can give it a try!

traumatised myself by watching it last year & and as one of those suckers that fell in love with X1 years after disbandment (crazily i stanned most of their groups/soloists without realising the history behind them lol). Always down to relive the trauma!

genuine question, wouldn't watching X1 be kinda redundant since the group disbanded not long after debut and the members split up into different groups, some that are participating in RtK ( Cravity and Younite). And you've watched it before. Imo i feel like I-land 2 would be a better watch since, it's pretty relevant ( it ended just last month) the group hasn't debuted yet and they're going to be a permanent group. but that's just my two cents, feel free to do whatever you want!

i’ve done other survival shows whose groups no longer exist before like produce 101 and the unit. i was a huge x1 fan so i thought it would be interesting to see it from a perspective of knowing more about kpop rather than before when i knew nothing about the industry

Always do what you think will be most enjoyable to you, just thought I'd mention it since you said you'd already seen produce. LOUD is more performance driven rather than story drama baiting imo. It's a nice change to the usual format.

if you want something new you can check out the japanese produce season 3 which is a girl group season. it got some pretty interesting coz one of the rules is you cannot signed under any label for audition. to make it a "permanent" group

Chuang 2021 - survival show from china its like a boys planet,also global the trainees are from different countries too.. 😍 you can actually see familiar faces, so many talented trainees that for sure your gonna love them 😍
