Ah finally.. Been waiting for you to drop this! I agree with you about the guy who interrupted. At first I thought that it was good that he took the opportunity himself and asked to audition instead of waiting for the directors to give him a chance coz you don't know if you will be given a chance or not, you don't know if all 21 of them will be chosen or not (they were thank god) but yes at that moment, you might think that you might get eliminated without even being given a chance so you have to ask for that opportunity bravely. And that's all fine but I wish he hadn't interrupted the directors while they were making their decision about the other guy. The directors we have seen move around looking for trainees that they want to see audition, so if the guy had asked for an opportunity then when the director was looking around and not busy with someone else, it would have been a better timing. But the timing and moment he chose was wrong and it was rude and disrespectful of him in a way to interrupt the director's decision about the other guy. And Yes all 42 of them got selected. Last week we saw all 42 perform. 7 teams of 6 trainees each. Rhythm, Groove and Beat teams have 14 players each - 7 starting lineup and 7 bench players. I agree the whole bench test was useless if all got selected but I think as survival shows go, they wanted people to be eliminated based on public votes that's why all were chosen but ya it defeats the purpose of scouting and doing another test. I love this Signal Song, and it having a hip hop vibe is exactly why I love it. All other signal songs are so high and like a disservice to rappers and vocalists with low range voices, only vocalists who can sing high notes do well which is why I liked this one. And ya the show is so much like Street Woman Fighter. Even the signal song is not on stage but like a music video. You get "title of the song", "directed by...", "lyrics by, composed by.." and all that is shown in a MV like we saw in the dance MVs of SWF. I like that. Btw did u see BACK KOO YOUNG from 1Million was the performance director!!! The different yellow cards is based on the postion they get after the performance. 1st rank team - no yellow card.. all 14 members safe 2nd rank team- 3 yellow cards- 3/14 get yellow card 3rd rank team- 6 yellow cards- 6/14 get yellow card If a trainee gets 2 yellow cards they will be eliminated right away. I liked this performance preparation, interim checking phase in this show..wasn't too harsh. actually heard the directors give proper tips, choreographers coming and teaching them, members helping each other. Really liked it TripleS has 24 members btw. I feel for Woongki. Every team he is in, there would be someone who would just not try their best at all. Why does he always have to end up with a team where there will be someone with a lazy attitude. And I can't even say it is evil editing, he was standing looking at the mirror and fixing his hair while the others were practicing, it wasn't even break time or just 1 or 2 members practicing alone, it was a group practice. Man moved the camera himself so that he is not filmed while he is "not practicing", at least that's what I think coz I can't find any reason why he would deliberately move the camera. I mean this guy got to be in the starting lineup and there are probably people in the bench team that's better than him and works harder too and really are passionate about the shows, wants it while this guy isn't working hard to stay in that starting lineup! I am glad though to see a different attitude from Zhang Shuaibo here. Jiang Fan from Team Beat, the one you praised for the dance break, is still my fav since audition when it comes to dance skills, main dancer position. Park Juwon is fav when it comes to rapping and main rapper position, JL as a allrounder, Steven and Woongki too and Park Han! These r my favs since audition. Changsub and his smirk..love it and I love his teaching methods. They r great!

In case you didn't know, Kijung (the one who wanted to be scolded by Changsub lolol @27:58) has been on other survival shows like The Unit (with hangyul and feeldog and he actually made it into the debut group) and Wild Idol (with gun wook). He started off really young and we've seen his struggles with his voice changing and I'm realllllly rooting for him (I also haven't finished university league)

Just one thing to keep in mind with this show is that the editing of narrative is so heavy especially in the next episodes. There were also a lot of mistakes that were barely noticeable live and in the full cam that they made a big deal of. But other than that, the show really showed a lot of good talent. I just wish for all of them to find success in the things they want to do after they show.

Han and JL, my ULTS are killing it.

The live audience voting choices will start to get pretty disappointing in the coming episodes, so be prepared, LOL.

Team Rhythm was my fave performance in this episode. Stable vocals, rap and dance. JL is my forever MVP, but Juwon deserves it too! ❤️‍🔥 Thank you for this, Jeff!! I enjoyed rewatching this with you Can't wait for the upcoming episodes. 🫶🏻

Team Groove is my favorite 💚 I like their stage the most and I think they have the strongest talents. Just hope they get a faster edgier song next time. (need to see my boy Han do what he did in the 1st ep again lol) All in all very fun show!

team groove's stage is my fave 💚 it's not perfect, but it showcased their talents really well and it felt very sentimental/touching. han is my one-pick. to think that this was his first ever performance in front of an audience? insane. joohyoung's body lines while dancing are soooo beautiful and he's got such a unique, delicate tone. he and han are my stand-outs this stage as well. but i love how all the members got their moments and all vocalists got to sang a section of the chorus + high notes. i also adore changsub's style of teaching. he's gentle yet also strict. gives compliments and corrections alike. i personally wasn't a fan of what happened in team beat, especially the line "i hate people who ruin my songs" from el capitxn. i hope that's a translation thing, because if not, it comes across rather mean-spirited and prideful. i much prefer groove and rhythm's mentoring styles, where instead of going "this is wrong, fix this," they go, "this is wrong, here is HOW you can fix this." then again, it's the first stage, and this is a learning opportunity for everyone---trainees, mentors, and fans alike.

Honestly, the onsite voters ignited something within the online voters LOL... at this time it was like a smoke but after a while it gets a bit ridiculous hence... but you'll see. It's a survival show, it's gonna be a mess. I'm just looking forward to enjoy ep6 again with you LOL

Roselle Galura

9 members debuted in this survival show.

Celesica

JL, Steven, Juwon and Park Han 🌸 Been rooting for Team Rhythm from the start till the end~ ❤️

Bruklyn W.

These were always my top 4 throughout the show as well!!

BZ

I had a really hard time watching this show because of the on-site voters. If there had been online voters, maybe I would have taken this show more seriously. Instead of voting for the best performance, as you will see in later episodes, on-site voters voted based on looks, and it was so frustrating to watch

Z

i swear park han is the gift from heaven

When I take singing tests in Korea, I tend to sing the national anthem a lot :) I think it's important because I check the basics of singing in tune without technique! And the director Groove was getting treatment for a lump in his neck when shooting this program. I was diagnosed with a cure in the last episode, so now I am working hard on my solo concert and releasing songs every month! In 3 days, another new song will be released. LOL
