Damn. I don't think I ever clicked on a notification this fast and sometimes when I check notifications the post has been uploaded for an hour or 2 at least. Today I was just on time! Heejun (leader of Team Rhythm bench) is the guy who started crying after he got selected during the bench test and Li Zhunuo is the blonde guy who was doing all the tricks and stunts during the dance break of Team Rhythm in We Ready Signal Song. In Team Rhythm I think the vocal mistake was done by the trainee who was sick. He may not have recovered properly or had less practice due to being sick. I also liked Hard Carry more than Baggy Jeans so I was shcoked when I saw Baggy Jeans team get more points than Hard Carry team. Team Rhythm and Team Beat both had multinational people but I think Team Beat foreign members spoke or understood korean better than Team Rhythm foreign members and so in TR, Heejun had to translate so much while in Team Beat, Han Seo was conversing in Korean mostly, at least that's what I gathered from whatever was shown in the episode. And there was a Hiroto in Boys Planet. But the one in UL is a different Hiroto. The ranking was based only on live audience voting and not online voting. I am so upset at Jiang Fan (the dancer guy with highlights you mentioned) being in the low rank and getting a yellow card! You will be more upset later on, just a warning. Were the audience sleeping? He is such an amazing dancer and my pick for main dancer of the debut group but it seems like he isn't popular! Also how the hell is Park Han 6th rank in Team Groove. I think the audience was sleeping that day! Li zhunuo, Han seo all being low ranked, upsetting! The rankings upset me so much. Trainees who should have been in higher rank were ranked low!! Live audience voting has never been good in any survival show. It is so frustrating! Ya, I agree with you Jeff, for the live audience talent did not matter or who did well on the stage didn't matter, all that mattered was visuals! And a trainee needs to get 2 yellow cards to get eliminated. Right now, the ones who have received yellow cards have received only one, it's their first one. And about Chih En, I watched the performances multiple times to understand why exactly I wasn't understanding the hype about him or liking him so much as the other. Like his dance and vocals are okay and nice but I finally understood why he wasn't appealing to me and that's his poker face. I feel like he has a poker face while dancing and needs to give more expressions in later stages. His eyes feels dead to me and during performances, the trainees that give good expressions are always the ones I find appealing. Ya let's see if Team Rhythm can bring out his personality and we get to see that on his face and performance. Ah sorry for the long comments every episode. 🥺🙏

just a side note about Changsub, he owns a vocal training academy that trains aspiring idols/singers to prepare them for entertainment company auditions. That building where he meets groove team for interim check is actually the building of his company.

Chulie

They need to receive two yellow card before getting eliminated.

howltthew

they will only get eliminated when they received 2 yellow cards, so no one got eliminated this episode yet.

Jee Emm

For this episode, the ranking was based only from the live audience votes. The online votes hasn't started yet

bechiiboop

Huhu can't wait for ep 4!!

CallistoWarriorQueen

The Online votes don't come in until next round and even then they were actually from before the show even started. It's not until we get to episode 8 that the online voters are voting after seeing performances. As you can imagine this put the a lot of the foreign and the unknown trainees at quite a disadvantage.

OneDoorTeume

They said if you receive 2 yellow cards then you are eliminated. It was in the captions a few times. So, no one who received a yellow card this time was eliminated. If they receive a second yellow card next time then they will be eliminated.

much awaited reaction dhgfjhdgfjh

Just a fun fact, El Capitxn and Heeseung from Enhypen are really close. As much as I have tried, I still am not a fan of Zhang Shuaibo. I just can’t get over the way he was in Boys Planet. Last comment is that having the only the audience votes count, caused the results to be based less on dance, vocal and overall performance and more on looks and who they thought was good-looking

RG_1015

They were eliminated only if they had already received two yellow cards; so if, in the next challenge, they received another one, that's it.

always a highlight of the week when UL reaction drops 🤩 my favourite bench performance was team beat's Hard Carry! i agree that Baggy Jeans was unfortunately too difficult for rhythm bench, plus the arrangement made some sections sound a bit awkward/pitchy because the chord progression wasn't as prominent as the original. i enjoyed team groove's Second Confession a lot! but i also agree that it's not as competitive as the other ones. fantastic performances nevertheless 👏👏👏 some clarifications: 1. this has been mentioned by the others already, but two yellow cards = elimination. so if somebody with a yellow card gets another yellow card next round, that's when they get eliminated. 2. the individual voting happened after each performance. the new ranking determines who's now in the starting line-up and bench team, plus traded players take up the spot of the member they got traded with. 3. the next round is not an internal battle. each team has one original song meant for their starting lineup, and a bench team from another team will try to intercept that song. also, this has never been officially confirmed, but it's rumored that there's an unspoken rule that directors can't take the front runner from other teams to maintain the integrity of the competition (JL for rhythm, han for groove, woongki for beat). also a side note that after the show, groove members have revealed that changsub had actually asked them to let him know if anyone wanted to be traded to other teams so he can make the switch 🥺 which i think is quite sweet

Soobin's Abs

For the interception round it goes as followed. The starting lineup teams each get a new song. The bench players from one team can choose starting lineup from another team and do the same song to compete with them.

Soobin's Abs

If after the next round players have 2yellow cards, they are out. If one team doesn't have enough players anymore, some of the starting lineup have to fill in the bench lineup. Meaning some have to learn and perform 2 songs.

Irish Blasco

Two yellow cards then you're eliminated

It seems like you keep getting confused, Hiroto from Boys Planet and Universe League are different person. First of all, the year of birth is different in the profile, and the main position seems to be different (bp Hiroto is a totally rap position). In addition, the time he terminated his contract with RBW is after UL shooting began and before the show began.

according to Mac (TR Bench member) there are multi level in their communication... for example him and Ayumu converse in Korean.. Mac translates in English and Thai then one who understand English will translate in Mandarin for the Chinese members, Ayumu translates in Japanese... for TR starting since Steven, Juwon and Chih En are fluent in Korean they usually communicate in Korean, Chih En translates in Mandarin, Steven also translates in English and tries to communicate in Japanese for Daisuke

rob andres

Beat bench got robbed especially Hanseo and Kairi! lol i know that they werent the best but they were better than their own first players

TsubasaSebong

In Baggy Jeans, only Xie Yuxin (the one you pointed) and Li Zhinuo (the blonde guy) were the only ones who did well, maybe because these two are REAL dancers. The expressions, too (I love how Zhinuo was enjoying it from the intro of the song already). The rest felt so tense. Funny how one of them got a yellow card despite performing best in their group.
