regarding that phrase "the sky was so clear", i actually interpret it as "i'm bullying you because I CAN and i'm doing it for no reason". he's narcissistic and since he came from a rich family, his pride was hurt when someone from a lesser status offered him coins. it just really shows that humans are scarier than monsters.

to clarify, the grandpa wasn't infected— he previously mentioned that he don't have any healthy organs anymore. and so, his organs might be failing already at that point causing him to cough blood.

no worries! just wanna share an info regarding the slime monster— they did not show it but in the webtoon it was actually a kid who witnessed his mother getting murdered and his desire is wanting to hide. this is just an opinion but ui-myeong (the monster that can transfer bodies), i don't think it's because he has no trust with anyone. what might triggered him is that hyunsu still views himself as a human, unlike him who has no empathy and human emotions which resulted to him killing almost everybody. also adding the fact that he believes that their kinds (special infectees) are superior and they can't co-exist with humans. i'm so excited for you to check out the next seasons because it will answer most of your questions in s1!

When Hyun su said "He's like me", he meant they are both special infectee which means they held out into complete monster transformation for 15 days which means they are a hybrid, part human and part monster unlike other monsters who couldn't hold out and turned into complete monsters

He was talking about himself 🫠 Actually, in the webtoon, Eunhyeok is much more intricate than presented in the drama. He was more vulnerable than we thought, and worries about things a lot. He just puts up a front so that everyone survives. In the last scene, a rule that they set was shown, saying 'infected needs to be quarantined'. I believe he stayed because he knew he was gonna turn.

I'm so amused about your reaction hahah I was as stunned as you were in the last episode of season 1. Season 3 is my favorite but I can't wait to see your reactions to all twists and turns that are still coming :) Also if you want to see more work of do hyun I think you would like his drama 18 again (his ahjussi trapped in teenager him acting is AMAZING). The drama is wholesome, sweet, life lesson worthy and just amazing and it's also a remake of the american movie 17 again with Zac Efron. However, I do like the drama more than the movie in terms of acting and production.
