OMGGGG I AM STRESSED. The pace of this was actually quite fast -- first half elimination and second half the new songs.

What're your thoughts about our Final 16?? Did your faves make it? Out of this batch, what would your Top 8 look like?

Next week is the finale! I won't be watching live as I need to be able to pause to comment so it'll be filming Friday as usual. I will try to stay up to edit and get the finale out to you guys as soon as possible though!

ALSO B2P doesn't end next week for us here! We have award show/year end season right around the corner and I'm sure we'll get the debuting group performing on those!

So proud of Yumeki! I was so worried how he would do. Both him and Dong Gyu. I'm pretty okay with how the top 16 turned out. I'm not super happy with Li Yu, but I'll wait and see if he changes my mind in the finals with the non-cutesy song. I had hoped Zi Hao, Ching Yu, and Han Eum would make it. Overall so interested to see how the people trying new concepts and positions work out. For noww my hoped for lineup: sang won lee leo jun min dong gyu an xin jia hao xin long yumeki and maybe kai wen as an mnet/producer choice if they only pick one. still open to be won over but Yumeki is my one pick since my other favs have such strong fan bases

Hengyu was my main pick so I am very sad but after seeing his letters (wrote in four languages lol) posted on instragram, it made me feel a bit better with some reassurance that he isnt giving up and has plans for the future. I suggest everyone reads it tho its a tear jerker haha. My main pick now left is Xinlong so i really hope he makes it!

My pick was eliminated which was Haneum. Too bad Mnet is pushing certain trainees. Haneum & Masato didn't get a voting for last place unlike past contestants. They made it seem like Sanghyeon & Junmin were getting eliminated so people were mass voting them.

The fact that there are only 4 c trainees left for the finale, and we started with 80...😭 I am hoping that we can get all 4 Chinese trainees in the finale group, but I feel like only 2-3 have a good chance to make it🥲 xinlong and anxin have the best chance though out of all 4 I think. Fun fact, one of xinlong's Korean fan accounts went super viral with one of their voting promoting tactics. Saw that the views is like 5 mill I think😭 the same with one of anxin's voting accounts I think!! I'm honestly pretty okay with the final lineup 🤭 I can't help but want kangmin in the group as well though, so I hope he can go higher. I saw a post that said that kangmin thought he caused hengyu to get eliminated, and hengyu thought that he caused kangmin's rank to go down🥲 that made me sad, cause it was the mnet editing I think Oh, and xinlong did speak in Korean, I think you missed it lol🤣

I really like this lineup. I’m absolutely devastated about Haneum but very happy for Geonwoo and Sanghyeon because I love them. Also Yumeki and Chingyu being separated is too cruel 😭 I don’t know how, but Sanghyeon won me over. I saw all those videos of him and his fans practically mobbing him and he was just smiling and doing fan service 😂 his cuteness and personality got me. I’ve been rooting for Geonwoo ever since his rumors were confirmed false because people are sick in the head trying to ruin people’s lives. Plus he’s an allrounder. He isn’t even a rapper but he mostly got rap parts except Chains where I finally got to hear him sing 😁 Also, I’ll be waiting just for Haneum to debut. He was P04 in Korea but again, dead last globally so I hate when Western people are lowkey (honestly high key) racist and saying Koreans only vote dozens which isn’t true. Taerae was carried by Koreans and Haneum even more so, but his global votes eventually dragged him to elimination 😩

oh good I thought that was only me who thought it was like that with sanghyeon and junmin last ep! I thought they were both fighting for the 16th spot! im really sad about haneum. I watched his live where he was singing all the best vocal moments of the show like rising sun bridge, etc. HE IS SO GOOD. I can't believe it didn't work out for him.

I think kaiwen gained attention before the show started actually, during one of the preshow events where all 160 trainees first met the star creators for the first time I think. I think I remember seeing a video of kaiwen, where he was asked by a fan what his name was, so he pointed at his name tag and then said something as well. That's where he first gained fans I think🤣 I honestly find it so cool that he has managed to slowly but surely rise in the ranks with no storyline, but just his fans and his talent😭 I don't think I've seen a lot of trainee's do that in a survival show (unless I'm forgetting someone)

oooo I think we have the same feed haha I also saw a lot of sanghyeon's videos! such a superstar aura honestly. so glad the allegations about geonwoo were squashed. it is so unfair when jealous, bitter people who are so unhappy with their lives try to ruin someone else's life and dream. so many crazies out there. it might be a tone thing with haneum that's why he didn't register well with the global fans. he has a very unique high tone that's almost alto. and when it's in that range, global fans prefer a more r&b slick tone. I mentioned earlier in the other replies that I watched his live and he was singing all the other songs from B2P this season and he sounded incredible. can't help but wonder if he was able to do the other songs (like rising sun), he would've been branded more as a vocalist earlier on and hence garner the global votes.

I think it's partially because his Lucky Macho fan cam got tons of views (3rd highest fancam views overall currently for that round) and people were shocked by how well he rapped. It's probably also because of this video of him where he looked closer to k-beauty standards so he might have had a surge of votes. His Japan fan base is so dedicated, though. If we get the GRID boys and Nouer boys together (LeoWon and HaoXin), I don't care who the rest of the lineup is haha Agreed though that it's going to be crazy at the finale. I think the only for sure lock to debut is Sang Won. Honestly, I got a crazy feeling Leo is going to drop a lot in the rankings, along with An Xin. I think An Xin will still make the lineup but fall to rank 5 or 6. My bold prediction is that I don't think Leo is making the debut team. I think he's coming in at like rank 9 cuz he has low Korean votes. And Chung Sang Hyeon is going to shoot up the rankings and come in at like 3. I think Chuei Liyu is going to sneak into the debut team. They have strong one pick power and I think they're going to get the Masato votes now. I don't know man, I just have a bad feeling haha. Knock on wood! Zhang Jia Hao is my one pick and I'm not even confident he'll make it. Let alone Leo. And this top 16 is the opposite of season 1's top 18. There is a lack of main vocals haha. Last time we had Zhang Hao, the Han Bins, Matthew, Gun Wook, Keum Jun Hyeon, Lee Jeong Hyeon, Jay Chang, Yoo Seung Oun, Keita even, Hui, we had a whole bunch of people who could main vocal. This season we have like Leo, An Xin, Sang Won, and Dong Gyu haha

I have my fears about Leo as well, if he's not in the final debut lineup I'm not stanning the group, period! I think Sangwon and Anxin have a high chance since they are ranked 1 and 2 consistently in both global and Korean votes, so they are pretty much locked in. My other fear in Jiahao, I have a feeling he will drop in ranks as well. I also think like you that SangHyeon and also Geonwoo will make it to the debut lineup because they are heavily pushed by Mnet from the start. I really hope I'm proven wrong and for once we get a good lineup. Honestly if Leo, Sangwon, Jiahao, and Anxin debut I don't mind about the rest.

My personal top picks are: Leo, Sangwon, Anxin, Jiahao, Xinlong, Junmin, Donggyu, and Kangmin. But the Korean votes are so different that I think Saghyeon, Geonwoo, Junmin are pretty much guaranteed to debut along with Sangown and Anxin because eventually Mnet will try to please their Korean audience first. Leo and Jiahao are not in their top 8 lineup in Korean polls, so I 'm very scared about the final results. Honestly if Leo doesn't make it, I'm not stanning the group.

I think Kaiwen would be an excellent fit for the main vocal position. He’s not only a talented rapper but also a strong vocalist. You might not know this, but Kaiwen, along with Anxin and Jiahao, are all from Chromosome under Lay’s label. They’re true all-rounders, capable of handling just about anything well.

kaiwen is actually a super interesting case bc like you said, he has managed to secure a loyal fanbase with very minimal screentime– thing is: he actually had no significant pre-show hype/existing fanbase (some very dedicated chromosome entertainment fans, mostly chinese, knew of him, but he was never popular even then), and most of his fans have just kinda come organically through the show! i think his s-class performance (very solid) put him on a lot of people's radar. since then he has had very little screentime, but his tiny crumbs of screentime have all been positive (getting the tambourine killing part, being affectionate and sweet with other trainees, generally just being cute and funny) – if he's on your radar and you pay attention to his tiny moments, he comes across in an endearing way. fans have also done a very good job at getting him hype online. kaiwen fans are kinda known among b2p fans for being particularly funny, and he has gone semi viral on both the korean and global side of b2p twitter throughout the show for various reasons. he's also close to anxin and jiahao (aka CEGz, they all trained together in chromosome) + is part of the "haidilaoz" friend group (CEGz + xinlong zihao suren), so fans of these trainees often support them all and multi-vote them together

My one pick is Jiahao so I’m very excited but there’s rumors he dropped in rank out of the top 8 so I’m very scared he is not going to make it in. His Korean votes are very low. :( He is such a star and it seems like this is his last chance so to not see him debut will be heartbreaking.

2:48:31 - i kind of agree/disagree with this because i remember last season watching boys planet and seeing a lot of people start voting for gunwook after the jelly pop performance (im pretty sure your vote counted as 2 during the live broadcast) and it was because he showed something different and his ranking evidently went up. people definitely hav one picks going into the finale but if they do what they did last season and open the voting during the live broadcast i can see people voting for different people based on their finale performance.

Yeah they weren't even pushed out of the top 16 that was their rank for "global votes" not counting the Korean votes. Mnet just watched those two contestants to get more votes I guess.... The ones that were really pushed out top 16 were Haneum & Masato they just never showed it to us & they didn't get a voting for last survivor so they had no chance to survive.

They showed Junmin and Sanghyeon's ranks in the last episode like 6 hours before the voting closed and in that time people went crazy with panic votes lmaooo getting Sanghyeon back to 8 is crazy work

As an interesting fact, within Chromosome the trainees are divided into four categories: dance, rap, vocal, and all-rounder. While each trainee specializes in one main category, they are expected to reach a solid level in the others in order to become all-rounders and qualify for debut. Lay only allows his trainees to compete once they have achieved all-rounder status. Wang Zihao, Zhang Jiahao, and Chen Kaiwen are part of the dance line (if I’m not mistaken), while Anxin belongs to the vocal line.

This elimination stressed me so much 😭 Mnet did 2 different interim update for this elimination; first was during the teaser released they showed yumeki 17th, kaiwen 18th and zihao 19th then another day they showed another interim again where junmin 15th and sanghyeon 16th. And also someone made a list to compare all voting pts and between rank 4 and 16th there’s only 500k points diff And a korean fan stated that based on this, woojin was actually around 11-12 rank before interim was shown 🥹 but he keeps on being pushed down to ranking because mnet keeps releasing interim to gain more votes to certain trainees and not to mention the benefit really did shake up the rankings in this elimination And regarding for live voting, mnet never mentioned since ep 15 that they’ll have a live voting for this elimination round so it is actually fair and not decided in last minute like how other people is saying that it was biased. A lot of people is saying woojin is mnet or pd pick because of this 🥹where even when live voting would take place i do think woojin would still made it considering how majority in global fans want him. And considering the screentime woojin had throughout this show, definitely he isnt a pd pick for sure 🤣

Given that the points diff from rank 4-16 are all so close which is only 500k points diff its obv that only top 3 are all sure can debut and the rest have all the chances too as everyone was very close in voting 😹 this will be very interesting in the finale

My 1Pick is Jiahao hopefully he makes it but I'm already mentally preparing for the worst aha... Actually even I am woojin pick, I was still shock woojin made it in the finals given that the last time he was given a proper screentime was still from Ep.1. And he was able to make it in the finals without proper screentime at all, has not able to do main parts during performance (killing part & main vocal), he is also an individual trainee with no company backing/supporting him, he got no storylines so far and the only one who got 0% idol training among the contestants left. So him making to finals is just so impressive. I’m excited for the finale as his 1-pick fandom is quite strong

You are the first person that I heard say that Leo is a shoo-in and will debut. Most people think he will not make it to debut, which makes me sad. So many contestants who have left the show, say that Leo is their favorite and yet Koreans will not vote for him, or if they do, Sangwon is their 1 pick. I truly don’t know if I could Stan the debut group without Leo, which is why he is my 1 pick. I do like so many who are left in the top 16, and my must haves are Leo, Jiahao and Sangwon. They have been my top 3 since day 1. I really want Junmin and Donggyu in the debut group too. I am neutral on the rest. I still don’t know what to think about Geonwoo, as the bullying allegations wasn’t completely debunked, despite what you heard. The one neutral person who came out in support of Geonwoo said that while he wasn’t bullied as a trainee, he understands why other trainees felt differently. I don’t want to believe the allegations, and I feel terrible if they are completely false, but I am staying away from voting for Geonwoo.

So Xin Long is an INFJ personality type like me. And I think what he meant with his "no air" comment is that even though, on stage, he wants the attention in everyday life, he is a homebody and too introverted, so he prefers to stay indoors without much social interaction, hence the no air haha I can relate to him because I'm an INFJ-T and me being a singer and performer I feel the same as him (having to recharge my energy at home) and understood him perfectly. I hope that makes sense ;) Your commentary on the evil editing was actually right haha. A lot of people started talking about how the allegations of Geon Woo must have been correct (because of the preview of this episode where they showed a snippet of this so-called "fight") and that Kang Min does not deserve his place because of his attitude and that shows that Mnet is getting what they want. People started assuming things before seeing this episode and that shows just how easily the voting can be manipulated but then again, Mnet knows how to use psychological marketing among their audience. For me, this only showed how good of an actor Geon Woo can be and that he should pursue acting as well. I was surprised by his micro expressions and overall body language in his small "role" in this skit haha. Also, Jun Min is just a sweetheart, and it was hilarious to see him flustered by this fake situation haha. For the killing part selection, I voted Jia Hao for Brat Attitude, because his moves were clean, more fluid, and he rapped/sang his part amazingly, in contrast with Yumeki that his dance was powerful, but that was it. So my vote went to Jia Hao. For Never Been 2 Heaven, I voted for Kangmin and, even though he is not my pick anymore and An Xin is, if I look at both videos, Kang Min stands out to me and I think he fits the killing part of the song. I hope that people vote objectively for the sake of the performances, but that will, of course, not happen. Also, there have been some rumors going around which make me scared about who will be in the final line-up, since some top players are dropping in ranks according to the interim results mnet has released in their preview. If the line-up is going where I think it is, after this interim I will not stan the group. And that is something I can only explain after I have seen the finals, so my reaction and explanation will be in the comments of that upload. However, I am excited about the performances and hope that everyone at least enjoys their final ride on this show to not have any regrets. I'm not gonna lie, when Geonwoo stood up to stop that fight, that was... I was like........... Very........ Impressed... That was the first time I looked at him and went "Wait a min, he's kinda 🫦" lol This final stretch has been really stressful for Xinlong 1picks 'cause he's been targeted by every single fandom out there. Xinlong is pretty much the punching bag of the season. His gallery events sabotaged, his fans attacked on social media, rallies against him just 'cause he might seem like a threat to other trainees, like... Many people see him as a lock-in, but he was ranked 13th in Korea and 7th globally, he's fighting for a bubble spot (6 to 8). And his numbers aren't even those of global powerhouses. I honestly can't understand why so many people hate him SO MUCH. Matthew went through a similar wave of hate, but despite being Canadian, he's Korean. Xinlong is Chinese. The hate he's getting comes from all sides of the spectrum lol it's crazy. He's my 1pick, so I'm keeping track of things. At this point, considering all the sabotage, he'd be lucky to debut at p8 lol. Anxin's gallery event was also sabotaged, and if I'm not mistaken, Jiahao's too at some capacity.

I have this weird peripheral vision where for example I would see the bp2 colours on an image before I actually SEE it, and my mind registers that it's related to bp2 so I would scroll really fast to avoid it or close the app completely.

I'm glad I've watched this show so I could learn about this Boi) sangwon (no comment needed) junseo / woojin (I'm a fan of junseo before his debut at under 19 but woojin man.. his vocals I need) donggyu (so fond of him and his skills!! and he really reminds me of Hongbin, ex member of VIXX) junmin / jiahao (tough one here, but I'm OK with both. more leaning towards junmin style of dancing) anxin (solid performance, and that face, easily visual of the group) good luck to everyone and hope your faves make it!!

This top 8 is not too bad. Personally I would switch Sanghyeon and Junseo for Junmin and Donggyu. I like Junseo but I prefer the other 2. So happy for Hao ! I have been voting for him since the beginning. My 1 pick is Leo ! So scared he will drop and not debut... But I did vote for Donggyu once to show support ^^

Actually my theory for kai wen popularity is due to coming from exo lay company along with anxin nd jia hao nd more so due to his dance line close to yixing and bright personality. But he is consistent with whatever position he got.Also since last season lack of edits made zihao elimnated.This time i think fans do not want that for jia hao and kaiwen.
