Hey Jeff, So to clear up why the girl calls Chief Crazy her "mom", it is because her own mother had died and, due to Chief Crazy basically losing her child, she trauma bonded with the girl just hear herself being called mom again but because she was so focused on feeding her son, she basically ignored the whole mom thing and let it slide, hence why she was annoyed when she kept calling her that when her desire of feeding her son grew. The intention of Chief Crazy is not from a good heart at all. She said that she snuck in the infectees because out there they would turn into a monster. The son does not eat full monsters, only humans or transitioning. So she sold the infectees a dream that they would live peacefully in a special unit of the stadium, but that's where her son is, so it was indeed just to feed her son. About the dialogue of Sang Won: The order is right. He did not know she was his fiancé at that time, but his instinct made him go to Green Home. However, the creature's "recognition" of Yi-kyung is not a personal acknowledgment but more so a predatory attraction he had. Since the creature came from Sangwon (before he transferred), the memory of having a fiancé was there, but he connected the dots when he saw her almost in labor at the research faculty. There is also some things that are not touched on in the drama that are clearer in the webtoon, but yeah, the dialogue was right and, honestly, it's kind of a plothole, because the way he remembered can be up to your own interpretation. Some people argue that when he had the fight with Hyun Su since Hyun Su hit him with his wing multiple times (before he petrified), he saw his desires and thus Sang Won Remembered, but again, that is only a theory. Another theory is that only the desire transfers with the monster and each time he transfers he is less human, so he also abandons any kind of humane memories.

oohhh ya i got that feeling with the chief about the infectees and thank you clarifying the mom part. i see why many people like to rewatch this cause you do miss some stuff like i did a few times now haha. and oooo i like that last theory you mentioned about sangwon. that makes a lot of sense honestly.

Yes, you have to watch it multiple times to catch some minor details, but the webtoon is also more detailed and, of course, it is the original story, so reading that can help as well when you want to understand some of the scenes. Honestly, the theory is what I agree with, but I can't explain more due to possible spoilers, so I leave that explanation if needed for the next episodes hehe ;)
