Arighttt! Thank you guys for waiting! What a fun series overall! Glad to have seen so many amazing dancers with different genres which I have been craving for awhile. And I'm glad I was able to offer some insight about this world!

What'd you guys think of the finale and results?

For the next survival show, I'm gonna wait til I finish the awards/year end show stuff before deciding on which one to do next. Stay tuned!

ouuu! I would highly recommend steal heart club. Its band version of mnet variety show franchise. Might not be within your expertise but it was fun to watch. Vocals, bass, guitar, keyboard and drums are the genre that are fighting for debut. So i would say more on planet franchise :D

If I remember correctly, for World of Street Women Fighter, the final was recorded in three parts. But this time, I think they only recorded it in two parts. I went to one of the recorded parts for World of Street Women Fighter, and it was held the day before the final. I don’t remember which end-of-year award show it was, but at one of them this year, Hojong performed in GD set and it was amazing. I also remember that some of the dancers appeared on variety shows on YouTube, if you’re interested in watching more content from them. As for new survival shows, I can recommend a few. If you want to try something new, Show Me the Money 12 is starting this week. It’s one of Mnet’s biggest survival shows. For idol-related shows, I recommend WIN and Mix & Match. They’re old, but I still think they’re some of the best K-pop survival shows to this day—and they’re short too. If you want something closer to what you usually watch, there’s Treasure Box or Mix Nine.

This was a very enjoyable ride! Thanks Jeff, for giving this show a try. I knew about ballet and contemporary, but this show made me fall in love with them as well as Korean dance. These genres are not commercial, so the show wasn't as successful as the other Street Fighter seasons. But I believe every person who watched the show gained much more than just enjoyment. Having your expert opinions made this so much better! I'm not aware of or familiar with any other survival show happening at the moment. I will watch whichever one you decide to go for

I agree with you, there were so many missed opportunities but you explained it well ; I also believe there was a casting issue (too many dancers) and maybe too many challenges or variations, if they could have done duo, trio, or even focus on one of the challenges and get to know more of each dancer's personality etc. But thank you for watching and reviewing this ; it was a blast ! I liked this because for once it was not just hip-hop or variations of hip-hop dance but different genres like ballet, contemporary, korean dance, the idea seemed very fresh to me and I enjoyed the performances. As for what they should do next, I don't know about what Mnet has planned for 2026 but as for street/stage fighter there were rumors that they were casting people to sort of do the same as that (ballet, korean, contemporary) but with girls only. I don't know where it is at now (still casting, abandoned, different concept... ???), but I was like, if they do ballet again, it would be so cool if Kyung-ho's sister was one of the participant. She is said to be a better dancer than him and the reason he did ballet too. That was just a parenthesis ^^'

HI Jeff thank you so much for reacting to this. i was one of those pushing it too so i am happy to have your whole idea on it . For me it was such an amazing show and its sad it didn't went viral as the other ones. I thinhk its better this way . Real dance connaisseurs will appreciate it

a girls stage fighter would be really cool to see! i would imagine it depends on who and how many people they’re able to cast- if they have enough. i feel like they should as there are way more girls in these fields. we shall see what mnet announces!

honestly i think the boy version of this franchise just overall doesn’t do as well. even with smf it wasn’t as well received. there’s something not connecting with the general fans.
