Definitely one of the best vocalists in Kpop right now! The tone, the husk, the effortlessness. Also loved seeing his personality here more!

PS. Not sure if I'll upload the reaction to ALD1's new single. Though I like it better than Freak Alarm era and that it's a fun summer song, I feel I'm settling rather than being genuinely excited for it. It is not a full on comeback so I guess we'll see in August for the main one.

Thnx for the reaction Jeff. I loved new songs a lot, they are suitable for summer and i definitely see myself listening to it a lot. I am so proud of Leo for this Service I can't stress enough, kinda feel like i fell in love with him all over again. Even if you don't react to the MV, maybe you'd react to music show performances or studio choom if you feel like it

I love him sooo much, probably my favorite tone in K-pop rn. I’m so happy he’s getting these opportunities to shine and be recognized, it’s what I’ve always wanted for him since he left tA 😭. As for OMG, I really like the song 😭 It’s been on repeat haha although I still want them to do something like Chains. I still appreciate whatever they put out (if the song is good tho), and OMG is such a summer bop while still having a little bit of rnb, so I’m not losing hope yet haha. And it’s just their first comeback so I feel like it’ll take time for them to figure out what their sound is. But I understand you hehe. Maybe you’d react to their Studio Choom? If you want, I feel like it made the song so much better for me, and they looked really happy! Thanks for your reaction, Jeff 🤍

Thanks for the reaction. When Leo said "that song really doesnt suit me" (folding) my first thought was "boy, youre lying" and he sure was. Loved the lineup of songs, he sounded a little different for each of them and it really showcased his abilities and different facetts of his voice. Also loved the duet at the end so much. I hope they let him produce for ALD1 in the future, his production style fits the group so well.

Yay its so nice to see Leo sing here. Him and Sangwon were a package deal for me on BP2 and he was a deal breaker for me too for his vocals...I hope we get to hear his tone more in the group 🫶🏽

I agree with you. They need to do rnb. I know Leo and Sangwon are very comfortable with RnB. Not sure about the rest. You should check out their performance on Dingo.

Yes I agree they are not using Leo’s potential. Okay he’s the leader a great one I get that but the songs aren’t hitting as good as I thought like it’s missing something and they need to let Leo lead the group sometimes more musically than instead of just looking after the members. He’s great at producing and writing he has said they haven’t let him explore his skills more and he has the best voice in the group yet it’s being hidden away. Even in music videos when he does have a part they don’t show him they show other members even though it’s not them singing. I prefer OMG Leo version over the group version and that’s saying something . The whole group has star power which is frustrating because I feel like the songs given to them aren’t made for them. The group will not grow much as I thought on boys planet in my opinion if the company doesn’t start embracing Leos potential and artistry more. It’s sucks because I love the group as a whole but they need Leo he is very impactful artist there’s a reason why his solo career did great. All I’m saying is let leo contribute with his artistry because I like their songs but I always feel something is missing or I am slightly dissatisfied and I’m thinking it’s because Leo is being hidden away a good bit vocally . That’s just my opinion.

It was such a nice experience listening to you praising and analyzing Leo's singing abilities 💙 I was already in love with Leo before his appearance on the show but it has reached a whole other level now 😅 I honestly agree with you that his tone and his abilities seem wasted on Ald1 as of now but I have high hopes that they will at least tap into genres that suit him more. OMG suited him really well but it honestly doesn't leave him any room to show off. That's one more reason why I loved this episode so much: He showed sooo much with just 5 songs - he can basically do anything?! I'm really proud of him! And ZB1 took a while to discover a sound as well with In Bloom and Crush being their first title tracks. I'll be looking forward to their actual title track in August. And it might sound weird but based on my personal perception... I've never heard this much emotion in his voice as when he was singing "Slow Motion". I'm kinda hoping they give him some sort of platform to develope and show his abilities - may it be covers on YouTube, collaborations or whatever! At first I was hoping for solo projects but that's probably impossible just because of contract issues. But I will be looking forward to anything he does! Thank you so much once again for always feeding us with Ald1 content!!! 💙💙

100% agree on this. main vocalists usually drive the tone of the songs but for some reason we're not doing that. Leo's voice is so unique which is a great opportunity for the group to have a distinct identity in this over saturated industry and so far, we are blending in way too much musically.

solo activities is gonna be so difficult given with what wake1 did with zb1 unfortunately. it did take awhile for wake1 to find zb1's sound but im hoping we dont take that long with ald1.

I just LOVE hearing your explanation. I knew Leo was talented, ace trainee at big hit ...etc but wow I was so impressed by his range and various genres he's able to cover. Not to mention like you said, his natural "coolness" while performing, he seems very comfortable the way he sings and presents himself

I have hopes since they keep mentioning about him being a producer that they will eventually let him contribute musically. In my opinion, if they release songs that highlight his vocals it would automatically help with creating the teams' own distinct color because his voice is so unique and rare in this new gen of kpop idols.

Oh I missed him so much , cuz it’s really sad with what w1 doing with Leo’s voice and abilities 😭 hope one day we will have more Leo’s husky voice in their song because wdym you have one of the best voices in 5th gen and your not using it 😭💔

Jeff, I love your reaction videos! This was actually the first video of yours that I watched here, and I really wanted to see your reaction to Leo's LMS!! I totally agree with you. Leo is one of the best vocalists of this generation, and his voice is so unique. I absolutely love his husky tone and his aussie accent. Honestly, it makes me sad to see WK1 wasting Leo's talent. He could contribute so much more to ALD1 creatively and musically. I don't know if you've heard, but ALD1 recently held a fancom tour, and they performed a new song called "Welcome Home". All the members wrote their own lines! I'm pretty sure it'll be included on their next album! Finally, WK1 seems to be waking up... at least it's a start, right? They also released the concept photos for the comeback, and it's looking really promising!! I'm not sure if you've already reacted to ALD1's performance at KCON Japan, but they covered "Beautiful" by Wanna One, and it was so good!! They also covered "Bang Bang Bang" by BIGBANG at Waterbomb Seoul, and they'll be performing "Fake Love" by BTS at KCON LA!! I really hope the new album and all these covers bring more attention to ALD1. They truly deserve it! Please keep reacting to Leo and ALD1's content! Thank you!🙏🫶
