Oh wow I'm early for this!! Ep 5 was so sad to watch, especially how the teacher got to where she was int he beginning of the ep. I don't know if it was this ep or a different EP in this series, but I heard that South Korea did actually make a law to help protect the teachers. And then omfg, ep 6 really made me so upset with how those boys were acting🥲😭 especially heo the main leader ended up not learning what he did and etc, even till the end. I actually don't think I ever considered that the method that the main characters did to get the kids to the juvenile prison was kidnapping, but I could understand it after. This is why I like watching people's reactions, cause I always think of things I never considered I heard that there were people in Korea who didn't like this show when it was airing, since it painted Korean education in a bad way.

Both of these cases are based on real-life events, and sadly, in real life, the teacher ends her life (ep 5)

In Korea there is a huge debate regarding the juvenile detention system. Almost all kids under 14years even though they committed a big crime ( I think murder is the only exception), they will not be held responsible and they almost never go to detention, the punishment ends with small fines parents pay and sometimes even the parents won't pay. There is the debate were people are saying age should get lower but there are also people who say they are just kids and they don't know what they are doing. Because of this system there are a lot of juvenile criminals who get away with whatever they do just because they are under 14years. This system was made for kids who really made a mistake and their future might be compromised if they have a record but nowadays kids are taking advantage of it.

for me the craziest thing about ep. 6 is that the main 14years old boy is played by 34 years old actor😭 like damn only in dramas can full on adult play 14 years old... also the guy that killed his bullies made me cry so much omg bless him🥺
