This is a better direction for them!! Good start! I will do more of their content/variety after I get back from my trip! I think 2nd /3rd week of Sept!

My only complaint is I wish Leo could be more selfish when it comes to showing off his abilities and talent 😂 i do believe the company did a fair job to give Leo parts in this album that suit his voice more he’s a great rapper but they need to let him sing more. I really felt before this album he had more rap parts than vocal parts even though he’s one of the main vocalist he does have the best vocals in my opinion in the group they should utilize Leo’s talent more. I always felt something was missing every time they came out with a song just because of how Leo was placed in the songs. I know he’s mentioned that he’s really just grateful to be apart of the group and be a leader to his members rather than taking advantage of getting every good part or center in their songs even in boys planet he did the same thing and really let try to let others shine more than himself (however it didn’t exactly work because Leo’s presence and vocals are top tier he won’t go unnoticed). Even in MV’s I find it frustrating when a good portion of his parts come on they show other members other than Leo himself even though it’s Leo’s part. We only really get to see small portion of him. All I know is I wish the company would utilize Leo’s vocals more because honestly every member is talented and they deserve to be appreciated but one of the main attractions I feel like in ALD1 is Leo’s vocals.

I really really loved this album!! I think when I heard the highlight medley, I initially didn't think I would like the title track (which is weird since I usually like that type of music loll), but I think after seeing the dance, mv, and the full song, I loved it so much!! Welcome Home is so so good!!! Ahhh, i just wish it was a bit longer😩😩 I think as the other comment mentioned, Leo should be more'selfish' lolll! I could imagine him doing some more vocal stuff on the songs!

I’m so happy with this album, I playlist every song haha it’s so my style. And yeah I’ve seen that the reception is great! The bsides mainly. Also haha, the SM sound is definitely there and I think it might be because their center director is a former SM executive, so maybe she’s using some demos from when she was there? I can see that happening Anyways I can’t wait to see where they go from here! But loove this direction

Did I just subscribe just to watch your reaction to ALD1's album? Yes, I did 😆 thank you again for your reaction and comments, I always love the way you add input and appreciate every group! Like the comments mentioned I also wish to hear more of Leo's voice. He's the main vocalist and an incredible rapper yet he's given minimal lines. Someone did a compilation of his parts and in this 19 minute album, he only had about 1 minute total! I just find it so regretful and wasteful of his talent!

14:45 you are so right about this! In the Leo x Sangwon live, Leo made an "appeal" to get these songs added to the album. So when the reaction to the highlight medley was good he told the company "see! I told you these are good" lmao

I'm kinda falling in love with this album to be honest 💙 After hearing that short snippet of Born Dire in the beginning I was slightly worried but as soon as the Highlight Medley dropped I actually grew curious and now listening to all those songs I'm just happy. Of course there's still so much we want to see and hear from the boys but they have so much time to do so, so we'll just have to be patient but I'm growing very confident of their growth even within a label like WakeOne! I still do believe Leo needs more opportunities to shine but there are so many more projects to come so I'll keep hoping 🙂 And I do like the ups and downs of this album - Born Dire being a strong vibe, Diamond Hour being so dreamy, One More Time is just a fun song, Talk To Me being the R&B we needed, OMG and Good Life being the summer vibe and Welcome Home is the hard hitting one with beautiful and heartfelt lyrics. I'm happy 🫶🏻 and absolutely looking forward to everything coming up
