I still have Four Hands, Two Sonatas until mid Oct I believe (it has 12 eps) but wanted to see the interest on this cdrama, which I could do after if there’s enough interest.

I know there was a lot of other suggestions back on my POJ reaction but this one is very current and seems to be getting a lot of attention (ratings going as high as 40%).

So yea let me know!

Hi Jeff, it would be great if you could check out Love in The Clouds (2025). For me personally, I think it's a great show with great actors and actresses. It is just my suggestion tho anyways thanks Jeff!

tbh i checked it out because it was blowing up on my cdrama tl, it's cute but not my cup of tea (specially right after watching the greatness that is POJ) lol imo there are better options under the POJ recos that you should check out~ but only if you want to~ ^^

I'm currently watching Against the Current. Great acting, great story, great writing. I literally pop out of bed in the morning to watch the new episodes. It's on Viki.

You're gonna have a heart attack! if youre in for a melodrama not over ths top romance. it's real people romance in a sense? haha. i know it's pretty hyped and on par with POJ in terms of viewership. I think it has to do with their chemistryyyy and tension. but the relationship? you're gonna pull your hair out haha.

Watched it while it was still ongoing then decided to check out Lighter and Princess (also on Netflix) and it (somewhat) made me lose interest to The Early Spring 🙈🙈

The First Frost pleaseeee (modern series) 🙏😭 this is also in Netflix. This show released last year was a super hit in China and internationally (one of my faves too 🥹) If not - The Early Spring is a good choice too. The leads chemistry and acting 💯

i haven’t watched it yet if i’m honest because i don’t know if id like it as much from what ive seen. so i’d rather argue for some other great cdramas instead but i’m just happy pursuit of jade made you wanna watch more of them. so id love any.

The dark horse of modern Cdramas this year. The Early Spring got my entire timeline debating and a lot loved how close it is to reality when it comes to relationships. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a drama gather this much reaction from Cdrama nation. I hope you check it out. I love the gray characters. No one really is a red/green flag. Idk the color for in between. And the best thing is the tension and intimacy that I haven’t seen in a while in Cdramas/Kdramas. They used an intimacy coordinator for this one and the effect is so evident. Usually in dramas after the leads get together the tension kinda fades away. Not for this drama. It is maintained throughout. I’m kinda sad that the poll is 50/50. I hope you give this a chance. I would to hear your thought on this. And would love to tell you about the little bits from behind the scenes.. esp from the intimacy coordinator on why some certain scenes are filmed in a certain way. I’m getting tired of straight up perfect/green flag characters. Flawed characters and watching their growth are much more interesting to watch☺️

Hi Jeff, I say if you're looking for another historical drama definitely check out Prisoner of Beauty! But if you want something historical but also fantasy Love in the clouds was an incredible watch! Modern recommendations for something a little more mature would be first frost and then a high school drama I really loved was always home. All of these are definitely worth looking into! :)

Based off what I have noticed about your taste in dramas and your POJ reactions, I think Speed and Love would better suited for reaction videos. (Especially if you like cars and drifting). The First Frost is pretty good too but it is one of those slow burns (not in the "annoying filler episodes " kind of way) That said I only watched to up tp episode 19 out of 32 but that was due to already seeing spoilers of the main plot points in reels.
