Probably Song Kang's best acting work to date. 10/10!! Overall an incredible storyline. This is a BL. No one can tell me otherwise! Reasons/review in the end of the reaction of course.

one of the best dramas I've watched in such a long time, my roller coaster of emotions esp these last 2 ep's were EVERYWHERE, BUT obsessed and loved this drama and ABS SHOULDVE beeen labeled as BL!! 2026-10-08 14:00 this is by far one of the best kdramas i’ve watched this year, and honestly, one of the best overall. it was such a beautifully written and well-executed drama for the most part. i genuinely felt for both of our boys, and their relationship was just so tragic yet so beautiful. these two are characters i know will stay with me for a long, long time. Lee junyoung and Song Kang truly brought them to life in a way that made everything feel so real. and just EVERYTHING about this drama was so serene, atmospheric and aesthetically pleasing. 😭 p.s. MORE justice for my sweetest boy Choi Jeongyo pls 😭😭😭 and thank you for reacting to it!! i genuinely looked forward to rewatching the episodes with you every week too. 🥹🤍

Unpopular opinion, but I like the way the mom comes across as a character. I don't like HER and what she did, obviously, but I think there's complexity there. Through the show, I never doubted that she truly loved Pio and that everything she did was for his best interest, though misguided, manipulative, and not healthy, obviously haha. I could understand her perspective in how she saw Jeongyo has a threat to Pio, though he was a *child* and she's an adult, so she should've been better behaved. & I do think she feels real guilt over what happened because she never meant it to go that far. But, there's definitely generational trauma being passed through the family--her shit with her dad, Pio's shit with his grandfather, and then it becomes issues between Pio and his mom. Gotta take a break. I'll be back to finish the rest! lol

Off topic to the show -- absolutely you can travel by yourself in Korea and have a great time! I do so much solo traveling. But I live in Korea, so if you ever make it out this way, you "know" someone out here haha I think we're relatively close in age (pretty sure I'm a bit older haha)
