Yes. All that drama for a research thesis 😏. I find it pretty clever actually 🤔.

Gia

Right 😆

for me the ending is kinda rushed. I also want to see more bf cha minho, more post-confessions scenes. But overall im glad that jaehyun chose this drama, a slide of life college drama is a great introduction into jaehyun’s potential as an actor and he did an amazing job and gained so many fans through dearM. Jaehyun never got to experience that college life bc he became a sm trainee when he was in Highschool and he’d always mention on radio shows what major he’d be in if he went to university so i’m so glad he gets to see a small glimpse of uni life even if it’s just for a drama. After 127 cb i hope he will pick up a new drama. Next year we are gonna see actor jaehyun again ( manifesting 😂😂

I think Moon Joon intention there was to buy out Minho so he can take full credit for the app (as in the sole person making it from start to finish). So it’s not like Minho selling an app as a developer. Like yk, when someone selling his creation (with proper business agreement), he gets the credit, the buyer just buys the right to use and distribute it. Idt it was the case here. So in that sense, MJ couldn’t offer MH a proper contract like you said, bc his whole plan was to hide MH involvement in the app from his dad. Then I think that’s a wrong to do. The right thing to do here is to introduce MH to his dad, offer MH a job or as a contractor, and work as a team. But then he wouldn’t be the competent app developer as his dad wants. So he was basically throwing money to a desperate person, just to live up to his dad expectation. So yes, he wasn’t stealing in a sense that he was frank with MH, and I’m glad he didn’t do any drastic when got rejected. But if you look at the whole thing, it was stealing bc he wants to take the credit for sth isn’t his by poking at the other’s weakness. that’s why JooA said even tho MH said it’s okay, that doesn’t make the whole thing right. They should have made that a bit clearer imo. But that’s what I take from the situation. I do think they were rushing a bit in last 2 eps, but JooA feeling for MH was there from the start imo, even while she was crushing on MJ. Bc she came to him when it was raining instead of going on a date, thought of hanging out with MH first after exam rather than contact MJ. Also when she was chased by that creepy guy, she only cried when MH got there. So yes, she liked MJ bc he was sweet but her feeling for MH runs deep. It’s just confusing to her since he was there all the time. Then she thought he was moving on, so it was kinda a wake up call Ig. About dearm post, it wasn’t a confession to just a specific person. It was Bokjin kinda social experiment for his paper. For me, it was a nice surprise. I agree with you on Haneul/Jimin couple tho. It should end at them being apart and realised their prbs. Whether they get back tgt or move to different people, it takes more time than what they showed here.

I like that the writers of the show didn't make Moon Joon so despicable and Jaehyun so pathetic. They really tried to show that each one of them had reasons behind their actions and thoughts, so it wasn't easy for viewers to choose a side (although most people would pick Jaehyun's or Joo ah's pov because they're the main characters). As for Jimin and Maneul, I feel like they should've stayed as friends instead or they could've left it an open-ended story. I think it's just me but I really didn't feel any chemistry between Jimin and the guys, including Yi Dam. I really felt that they gave sibling energy, it's just that Yi Dam's character was very likable, that's why we think he's the better pair. (Sidenote: I think the actor who plays Yi Dam has a very bright acting future. I can just feel it lol) I also think that they could've done more episodes because there's still a lot more to flesh out. I really wanted to see Rosa being obliterated during the election, and they didn't even show her reaction 😭 I think we can all agree that she's so slapable and I lowkey wanted her to be just miserable (I'm sorry). Regarding the letter though, Mok Jin didn't really meet his first love on the first day per se, he was just trying to complete his paper regarding college life. I like that this whole time we thought that the Dear M posts were someone being romantic and all, but in the end, it was just a social experiment by Mok Jin and he just happened to meet his first love along the way. All in all, as you've said, this was a good drama for Jaehyun to jumpstart his acting career. It wasn't too serious nor so dramatic and most importantly, he was able to show his potential. I hope he gets more acting opportunities in the future. I lowkey want him as a tsundere CEO🙈, esp with that look during the wedding scene (his hair lowkey reminded me of idol Jaehyun tho, he looked so good dhcdh). Anyways, are you somehow interested in reacting to Fill It Up with NCT 127? It's like Stick Together/ 7llin in the Dream! So chill and funny at the same time. It only has 5 episodes, so I'm just putting it out there! Thanks for your reactions, Jeff💕

Oh sheesh did I just write a whole essay... I'm so sorry😭

eve_ss

Just to share a little info, regarding the wedding performance scene, I heard it was because the song they danced were actually a different song and I'm guessing because of copyrights they can't play it anymore so that's why they put some random BGM there which made it kind of awkward. 😅 (same case with their other OSTs that we heard from their past teasers - they're not played in the series anymore when it aired) Overall, I'm really happy that we were able to watch this series after waiting for soooo long. It was worth it! Not the best but I still really enjoyed this series.💚 I hope we could get another JAEHYUN drama after this soon. Looking forward to it! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR REACTION!! ☺️

lily

yes eve_ss was right the song for the wedding performance was changed to something else bcs of copyright hence thats why it was kinda awkward

lily

overall im happy with the drama cus im glad that jaehyun's character is a little goofy a little loser a little pathetic which is something we dont usually get from him as a member of nct cus he always has this cold prince aura. cha minho is a lovable character and i like it that jaehyun's acting made me forget that he is not jaehyun and that he is cha minho who in love with his besfriend and just wanted to help his sister out. people on stan twt who didnt watch his drama been mocking him bcs of an "emotion edit" that set him up calling him dnt know how to act when in fact he gave his best here tho ofc he still has room for improvement but as a first timer, he did well. his best scenes are those with his sister, and the wedding speech is his best act imo

Deiseree

I actually really like the plot twist on who's Dear.M. Senior is a psychology major and him writing those posts as a social experiment for his research paper makes sense to me. And yes, they really did pull off a gossip girl here lol. Also, I'm overall satisfied with Jaehyun's performance in this drama. With more acting opportunities and experience I'm sure he'll get better and better. Thank you for reacting to this drama! Can't wait to see your future drama and NCT reactions.

hanna

it’s always those losers who didn’t even watch an ep of dearM having the audacity to judge his acting through some screenshots. Kdrama fans and ppl who really watched DearM praised his acting so much and said they cant wait to see jaehyun actor again. 😊☺️

Martha

I just wish we actually got to see them as a couple a bit more 😩 it was too rushed

ECCENTRiC

Ending was rushed but definitely enjoyed it, we rarely get college setting kdramas(usually more of a cdrama thing). I thought Jaehyun was great and I really hope he continues to act as I thought he did very well for his first gig.

Ana Aguilera

Thank you for reacting to the series. It didn't make sense for the story & us as the viewers for him to be Dear. M but it made sense for the character since he did it for a report & he is a psychology major after all so he definitely played with all our minds & even his friends never found out who it was.

Kerameikon

As a suggestion, if you're looking for more drams to react to, Doyoung's Dear X Who Doesn't Love Me is only 10 episodes long, with each episode being about 40 minutes in length. Might be a good 'filler' series for you!

JULIȺN

I feel like most kdramas have bad, mostly unrealistic endings. I agree that the ending felt rushed.

JULIȺN

I hope you’ll react to semantic error the k-bl 🫣🤭

Gia

so for "Dear.M" is just his research, right?? hahaha
