Wow I didn't think we'd look this deep into their private lives! This is very well done and interesting!

PS. I filmed this on Tuesday and at the time, the new eps weren't out yet.

Yay you reacted to this!!! Can't wait to watch with you & yes I also didn't expect this to be that deep

Broke my heart, was unexpected and raw in a certain way 🥺 I want to hug them.

Haechan actually grew up in a remarried family🥺

eve_ss

Been waiting for this documentary ever since they announced it last year and finally it's here! Totally worth it! I cried 😭

pr37

sorry but what do you mean by remarried, I did not understand

LiveLaughLoveZonZon

It’s also on Hulu in the USA. Also..Disney + seems to be getting partnerships with kpop groups because they have had a couple of documentaries now. 😂 BTS NCT127 TXT Super Junior and more to come. ☺️

From what I can understand from the documentary, haechan is the only child of his parents, and parents separated and remarried. So he does have half siblings younger than him and step parents, at least from the mom’s side

we don’t have hulu in canada i think 😂 that’s awesome for all the kpop documentaries! will possibly do some of those next

Excited to re-watch this with you! I also love how this documentary is put together - it's done quite tastefully without being over the top. It's refreshing to get a slightly deeper look into the members' past but like you said, without getting too personal as I also would like them to keep the private parts of their past, private. Regarding Taeil's story - there was a post that someone shared about how they met Taeil's father and how he was proudly bragging about how his son sings well, is smart, etc. He even showed the OP a photo of Taeil. His father is a taxi driver which makes sense why Taeil chose to sing his song in a taxi. I think knowing this made me feel more emotional as I watched that last bit!

taeil's song hits different when you know that taeil's dad is a taxi driver 😭

Oh yay! I didn't wanna watch this alone because my overly emotional brain cells couldn't take it and your commentaries definitely helped! I feel like I'm just binging it with a friend. I'm finding myself responding to you through the screen lol A lot of fans have been waiting for this whole documentary since they announced it quite a while ago but releasing it before their comeback definitely makes sense. I also feel that they're gearing up for something big!

jeffavenue

ok ya someone’s chopping onions 🥲

I really enjoyed re-watching with you! Being subscribed to your Patreon is always worth it and I hope that I have some brain space freed up soon to enjoy your non-NCT reactions too! I knew about the documentary for a long time before it finally released, but I would have never thought it would be this wonderful mix of interview footage, performances, and animated or “live” re-enactions. I also think they did a great job of striking a balance between being intimate and invasive. The guys had a lot of input and final say on what was and wasn’t included. That was the debut of “Will Be” and I hope that it is out on streaming one day. I think I will cry every time that I hear it and like others said, knowing that Taeil’s dad is a taxi driver that has Taeil’s photo displayed and has mentioned him to fans before even though they’re estranged and Taeil doing his performance in a taxi makes everything extra emotional. Fun fact! Taeyong did voice acting for some of the people such as Yuta’s coach and also Jungwoo’s mom in one of the upcoming episodes.

So I went and saw them the one and ONLY time they performed Kick It in the US before COVID. It was at the Houston Rodeo. We literally found out the world was shutting down walking out of that concert. Also, Kick It is memorable for me because I was at the height of my morning sickness when it came out. So everytime I hear that song I get a little nauseous lmao.
