Hellfire Gala '22 pages (Patreon)

im trying to remember, but I think when I was approached about drawing a part of this issue, they had already picked the pages out for me.

this was a departure from how they did the first Gala where instead of a bunch of tie in issues to the main event, it was now one oversized issue with a bunch of artists.

Im not sure what about these pages screamed having me draw them but Gerry Duggan did ask me what mutant I wanted to draw ambushing the "Avengers" so I got to include my girl Surge. I have to imagine it was probably the opening with the Jean and Scott scene. We did have to go rounds on how much of that last panel I could show because originally I had too much of their butts in it, I think.

ironically my favorite drawing on all these pages was the first drawing of Captain America.
