okay so need y'all's opinion on something

I've wanted to do a sketchbook for the past several years, and I've finally settled on doing a vampire one. it'll be a collection of mostly vampires from film, but I have a few from games, as well as vampirella.

I have 30 vampires picked out, it'll be a nice simple 32 page staple bound book. My goal is to get it done in about a year (ideally around next Lightbox Expo (altho I dont think im going to be tabling, more so just a timing thing))

here's what I want to know for y'all. I'd like to share my progress here for everyone (covers will probably slow down because I want to do prioritize this, altho I have 2 covers lined up already for the new year that I think everyone will be excited for) but I also dont want everything to just be public as I build the book.

my thinking is to put the book progress behind a pay wall here but just anything over the $1 tier. so for $12 for the entire year you can see my whole process and finished pieces before the book comes out. does that seem fair?

I have a weird irrational hang up on material from a book being online first because I think why would anyone want to buy the book if they've already seen it, but I know only I think that way about it haha.

so let me know how this sounds to everyone. my goal is to spend December on sketches and thumbnails and start this thing going.
