A few years ago I was asked to be a small part of Project Hail Mary. This is a selection of designs from my first few passes on Rocky, our main directive was to find interesting ways to play with asymmetry, silhouette and texture while I took some attempts to imbue ways to depict culture (gems and barnacles as decorative or identifying elements).
