ultimate x-men (Patreon)

okay so i havent been able to stop thinking about it since i tweeted a bit about it months ago

but i really want to develop what id love to do for an ultimate x-men book. nothing official, mind you. not even a pitch. just something for fun to do in my spare time. even if its just a line up.

ive been missing the x-men a lot lately, and i havent really gotten to roll up my sleeves and do a nice redesign project in a long time, so i think this might be it

heres my question for yall.

ive batted around 3 different ideas in terms of what could be the make up of the team, and i need yall to weigh in.

the first would be just go with the OG ultimate team. maybe a few of the later additions

- Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Colossus, Beast, Iceman, Wolverine (maybe nightcrawler, rogue or kitty)

the second option i thought could be really fun is the Giant-Sized X-men team. they have a great team make up albeit very dude heavy, but not a lot is done with that cast anymore, let alone a fresh reboot.

- Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Thunderbird, Sunfire, Banshee

the final idea is the X-men Evolution Cast.

- Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Kitty, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Spike

my one apprehension towards the evolution cast is its so large. 9 is a pretty heavy team, which means a lot of moving parts.

so basically the idea is what if i developed a brand new x-men universe with this team based on real world present day (like how they did the original series back in 2000)
