I was reading the first paragraph of an Unknown Pirate's book while we were riding in the squeaky cart among vegetables. Grizkh was somehow distant, as if something managed to pierce the tough green shell of my giant companion. He was biting his nails and always looking back.

"What is it, mate?" I asked him carelessly, while chewing the wheat I found among the sacks of potatoes. We were approaching Bowes, an infamous pirate town.

"Nuth'in, Aaron. I don't like it here." He shrugged and firmly grasped his axe. I noticed it was dented.

"Give it over here, pal." He reluctantly parted ways with it and I mended the axe with a simple spell. I handed it back to him and tossed the wheatstone his way.

"I cannot magically sharpen it." I smiled and watched Grizkh carefully pouring a few drops of water from his wineskin on the blade and started sharpening it. He was still cautious and watching around us.

We stopped in the roadside tavern that actually had the smell of cooking. My mouth watered at the idea of cooked food. I noticed something was wrong. Grizkh usually dashed in the tavern and ordered every drink they have.

He was sitting in the cart, hugging his axe like some oversized baby hugged the man-sized doll. He noticed my puzzled look, frowned and jumped from the cart.

"I don't trust pirates, Aaron. Neither should you."

Just used this in a little Haunted House adventure with a player entirely new to D&D... she loved it, and I've got a new player & campaign now ;-) She specifically said she loved the maps, too. So, yeah, you helped bring another poor innocent soul into the infinite realms of D&D ;-) Really love this map!

This kind of praise is priceless! We are so happy to hear this and thrilled to be a part of the blame for a new soul pulled into the greatest roleplaying game ever! Thank you and enjoy the maps, buddy! Greetings from us two! :D
