Following the weak thread of vague information, Grizkh and I traveled into Sameeria. The once-violent desert was imbued with vile, forgetting magic; wastelands began to appear more inviting. Endless dunes of bright sand, peppered with oases and places of power, the nomadic folk...
The culture of Sameeria is something else. They move their cities. Imagine having Sandport on the camel's back and seeking water. I wrapped my mind around the idea of it, but Grizkh was astonished.
Ridgeloor, the capital of Sameeria, was built around this oasis and was there ten years ago when we were here. Now, the abandoned oasis is much smaller, but I assure you, something lurks beneath the tension of its surface.
