Dear friends,

The first-day map of August is the haunted house. In our setting, the lord of the manor is one of the original vampires, cleverly trapped by his brother. The house was left to rot, luring adventurers when they visit the town. My party ventured into the house, failed to spot crucial details, falling short of its mysteries.

Since we love the multi-floor maps, we're happy to deliver this one to add depth to your session preparation. We're preparing the hallway-turned-dungeon under the house as one of the next releases, so stay tuned.

Hey there, $3 bundle is missing upper floor and has only the one map, is this by design? I get that $5 bundle gets you lots of additional variants, but missing half of the play space isn't exactly a "variant". It's just half complete. :-)

Hello Ryan, you are absolutely right. The uploads are fixed now!

Thanks, much appreciated! I went back and also noticed a few (most?) older maps didn't have their second floor so my apologies if I may have spoken out of turn. But on other other hand, some do have their second levels. It seems consistent, so perhaps this is just an export automation issue? For example, Tavern has both levels, However, Noble House (July 2021) doesn't. If you download the zip, the entire folder structure for the Second Floor (both grid and gridless) is there, but they are empty. Orphanage and Vampire Mansion have the a different issue, but it does indeed seem to be an export error depending on intent. The "ad" tile for the $3 support tier shows the Second Floor clear as day in it, but it's not in the zip (folder structure or files). So either the ad tile is wrong, or the zip is wrong. :-) By and large though it seems that most multi-storey do NOT have their second floor (or basement when applicable), and I guess I just never noticed that because most of your maps are single maps. :-) Perhaps I misunderstood, but I thought the intention was the $3 support level would have all storyes, but only the day/night variants. So you don't get Empty/Clean, or Raid, or Fire, or any of the other "situational" variants. But if that was the intention, it seems that most $3 multi-storeys are missing those files...only than a few exceptions it seems that all have 1st floor only. If the intention was that these are supposed to be there, I understand that could be a lot of work to go back and fix all of these. Instead, if it's easier for you I can just bump to $5 for a month, grab'em, and then just address it going forward. Clearly it's not bugging anybody else if they haven't brought it up. :-P
