I know some readers only check out the finished page via the early access posts, but I always encourage readers to also view the finished page on the DZO website, since I always try to include some semi-relevant supplemental entry under each page.Chapter 22, Page 39 has an entry about a painter who experimented with pleasure drugs. Above is the painting featured in the entry. Funny enough, I thought including this would be a fun (and somewhat "easy") endeavor -- well, it was definitely fun, but easy it was not. Getting a fake watercolor effect to actually look good is not as simple as one might think. There are tons of filters, effects, etc, but many look pretty phony, while some look downright terrible.Getting this to look the way I envisioned almost took as long as the DZO page itself! I always wonder how many people actually read the supplemental entries on the DZO site, but I just couldn't settle for "eh, it's good enough", so it ended up being quite an undertaking. Many thanks to artist Tenza for putting up with me as we got this one "just right".

It’s a really beautiful picture, very much worth all the effort! I did see it posted on your website and thought about asking if you could post it here, but I figured it’s a nice incentive to direct people to look at the chapters on your site. The bonus info is a really nice touch and really fleshes out the DZO world.

I’m just going to be upfront about this: I’M REALLY LOVING THIS COLOR ART RIGHT HERE!!!!!!!!! Although, I kind of wish that there’d be another one like this, But with Sailor Justice as the silhouette piece for it as somewhat of a heroine’s rise to greatness. For me, that’d just as cool as this beautiful art right here! 😁
