What if DZO had been an early '90s OVA? Well, here's what the VHS cover art may have looked like!

Also posted are "worn" versions, complete with price stickers and a sun-damage effect.

God I would love a DZO anime series. Heck, I'd be glad with just an OVA. 🤩

The font and movie description in the back was charming, but the "Manga" logo and Definitely not for kids disclaimer is the Chef's kiss, just perfection. 👌 👌

If only an animated series were even possible in the late ‘90’s, than man, would I LOVE to have me one of THOSE in my collection indeed! 😁😏😎

This takes me back lol! I remember going to Blockbuster in the late 90's/early 2000's and seeing some OVAs (I specifically remember seeing Ninja Scroll but I know there were others) and being fascinated by the covers. My parents never let me rent them though, had to wait until I was in high school and the DVD era was in full swing.

Erik

Is this a teaser of what's to come?

Midnight

This was just for fun, but there is a short little animation project we're currently working on.

i would have totally ordered this by calling the phone number that i saw in the add playing during night time TV ads XP
