The last panel ended up being particularly tricky. Originally, we only planned to have Madison looking at her injured wrist -- but I was concerned readers would either be confused by it or wouldn't remember when the security android grabbed her in the bar fight (Chapter 22).

We then considered just adding a thought balloon for Madison where she referenced it -- but that felt forced.

In the end, I felt the visual "flashback" (seen on the finished page) did the job best and was more impactful than any dialogue Madison could have referencing the android or injury.
