We won’t be updating a new DZO page today, as Salaiix is still currently working on Page 43.

My goal is to get back on our two page-per-week schedule in the very near future. It’s frustrating because the current schedule is definitely having an impact on the pace of the storyline and we should be at scenes right now that we’re not at.

Salaiix does amazing work on the page coloring, but one solution might be to get a colorist to handle the pages and ease his workload. Another solution is maybe having another artist do alternating chapters (ie Salaiix does Chapter 26, another artist handles Chapter 27, etc). These are all things I’m currently looking into, hoping to find ways to avoid so many delays in the future.

I really liked Katsu's style when the comic first launched and I thought Salaiix' style seemed a little off when he took over. Now I love Salaixx' style (He's refined his art so much) and I think it would be too jarring and inconsistent to switch artists every other chapter. I think finding a colorist, or even going back to black&white would be preferable to alternating artists. That's my 2cents, but I'm sure the comic will remain amazing going forward whatever you decide to do :)

Same as Shonuv mentioned, what initially drew me to DZO was Katsu’s artwork. I’ve always loved anime, and the manga-style visuals immediately hooked me into reading. Over the years, seeing Salaiix’s art evolve into what it is today, I love his work now!! I’d be disappointed seeing other artists handle the NSFW content that Salaiix should be doing on the main comic. I want to see Salaiix drawing the luscious tiddies and asses of the DZO women!! I think guest artists are fine for spin-offs, but for the main comic line, I’d really prefer consistency with Salaiix’s style. That said, bringing in a dedicated colorist could be a great solution to help improve efficiency while preserving the core art direction.

Sorry for the late reply but I like to throw in my two cents. How about reverting to your previous pacing. For example in chapter 16 and previous chapters, it would only take several pages to show and conclude dialogue, a plot point and fight scenes altogether which would take about a week or two to complete. In your current pacing it would take at least thrice the amount of pages to do the same thing. The fight scene between Madison and Nihil started in Feb 27 and has not concluded even now. Your current pacing does highly improve the quality of the plot and fight scenes but it massively increase the time it takes to convey it. I was fine with the previous pacing in the early chapters like chapter 16 and the preceding ones. The pacing there moved the plot in a timely manner that I liked. And to be honest, I'm still looking forward for the next NSFW story. The last one was "Bad Bitches" and it was released in 2022. And it only took 4 months to complete. And that was made while the main series was being made alongside the other art pieces. With the current pacing, the wait time for each one would be even longer. I'm okay with the current pacing for the NSFW portions though. The scenes with Madison being molested by the crew in the bar, Reena's masturbation, Madison's sexual dreams and the bar girl dominating Madison was very hot with the current pacing.
