Working on my long-awaited (?) Zootopia story where Nick gets a Green Lantern ring (Patreon)

It's a little hinky because I've blocked out that the first arc is Nick trying to deal with both the police and organized crime by using the ring, and also having to deal with the prisoner that the previous Green Lantern was escorting when he died.

Which is alright for starters, but then I want to go into a plot about the Guardians being kooky (as one does) and it's hard to make that not feel like it's a 180 from the starter villain and Mafia and cops stuff. But I think I've got it figured out so the story won't feel like half of one movie and half of another.

I'm taking a good bit of inspiration from Prohibition-era gangster stuff, as I think that's about the one time period where you have semi-open racism against Nick and a plausible 'first female cop' in Judy. Plus that BTAS "wear a fedora while you work at an Art Deco computer" aesthetic is just choice.

Now THAT is a supercomputer!
